There's a fast food place down the street and they used to serve food on roller skates.
I told my aunt that I wished they still did that because it's cute.
She told me they probably stopped because the company didn't want to pay too much on health insurance or whatever she said.
And it got me thinking...I wonder how it will be when I get a job. Because I manage to hurt myself constantly.

My dad's had several workplace accidents.

He's broken his ribs and he got hit in the face with a metal pole.

He was a welder for a long time, and this one day, he got hit in the face with a metal pole.
He went to the ER and he was completely out of it when we got there.
He said he drove himself there, but doesn't remember anything after he got hit.
So his boss let him drive himself to the ER in that state.

And when he broke his ribs, he worked for about two days before it happened.
He was standing on a platform that was unsteady and he fell.

He's extremely accident-prone and has broken almost every bone he has at least once.
I am the same as him, but have not broken bones.
I manage to get hurt at least 8 times a day.
Mostly in ways normal people don't.

He owned a deli for a while and I helped him make food and stuff.
Well, they had this coffee machine that could make lattes and cappuccinos.
He told me not to touch it because it was extremely hot.
I ended up backing into it and burned my arm.
And this also happened there:

Dad: 8u -leans down to see if stove lit- -burns forehead- uX<
Me: Hahahaha-- -hits head on rack of pans- uX<

Have you ever had a workplace accident or a bad experience at work?

Look for me in the white forest
Hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)
I know you hear me,
I can taste it in your tears."

I had a rack bite my thumb
I had another decide to attack me. Might've broken my toes if I didn't wear steel toes to work. Scraped my leg pretty good though
Also, the sunglass racks are aggro and will attack anyone and everyone if yy don't keep them appeased

I remember spraining my wrist on my first week of the job...while opening the back door. Yeeeah, these things definitely happen at the workplace.

Once my dad set off the fire alarm via "driving too fast" on a pallet jack, causing the pallets to slide off and slam open an emergency door
And they picked that because dad was in an aisle, at a dead stop, waitig for someone in the main lane to pass and had just started to creep out when down they went
The safety points are on record (or were, points get removed after a year) as unsafe driving speeds but the reality is no one knows how the fuck it happened and they had to give points per their own policies

They may as well have wings and hiss, those sunglasses
