The view was the quintessence of beauty itself.
Its spires rose high above the eastern cliffs, where they could
stretch their delicate fingers out to touch the sun as it rose each morning;
and cry moonlit tears of russet and indigo and gold,
when the sun set in the evening.
The walls of the city glowed with infinite Light
As transparent as glass,
yet did not appear to have such fragile state.
You knew all this and more as you gazed upon the clouded city
Though, you do not know how you arrived here
or your purpose, you can't help but wonder if this might be a Dream
Just then a shimmer of light appeared in front of you
Tiny as a dandelion seed at first, but grew to be a blinding Sun
which had you covering your eyes at it's brightness
The sun proceeded to take form, wings broke out
and a human form began to shatter
the brightness into millions of shards of glass
When the spectacle was over,
you are standing in front of a winged being
Lovely, more than anything on earth to you
Radiating Kindness, clasped in armor, surrounded in gold
"Welcome to our fair land,young being, we have been expecting your visit"
Voice like wind chimes on the softest breeze
The last thing you remember is the feel and sound of wings.

My name is Gaby, I am 20 years old and I am currently
a college student. I would be in my second year 2 semester of college
and I'm on my way to becoming a nurse.
It'll be hard and challenging but i know ill make it.
I enjoy art, a good book and a good video game.
Guitar Hero is my guilty pleasure, same as chocolate. The white kind.

I have done a lot of digital works and i don't know why i've never gotten around to uploading traditional. I will be uploading traditional work in the days to come.
I remember i drew this when i was living in an apartment between moving houses. It is up to you guys to make up your own meaning.
Also butterflies will be a constant theme in my pieces. xD
I've always been very fascinated by them ever since i was very small, one of my first words was butterfly.
I use Prismacolor color pencils for this.

There's an unmistakably regal air to Solar Leos. These are dignified—even noble—folk. Leos have a reputation for being conceited, but think again. Leos do feel important, but this generally takes the form of wanting to change the world in some way—to make the world a better place. On November 10, 2016. i learned that my doggi Coddy had been put down because of his diabetes. He had just been diagnosed with it a few months ago, and the insulin didn't work as it should. Didn't stabilize his little body, so it inflamed his liver and his pancreas. It was all so sudden.
My parents and brothers tried the best to help him and care for him, but in the end it proved too much for him to bear. Naturally it was incredibly devastating for me, i haven't stopped being upset since i learn off it. I thought i had a little more time with him on this earth, he was only 10 years old. I still can't believe it.
He meant the world to me, he still does and he will forever. My boyfriend tells me not to blame myself because i didn't know this would happen. But i feel like i wasn't there for him when he most needed me. I was a million miles away, i didn't get to hold him one last time. Told him how much i loved him and how much he meant to me. How he was my only friend for so long, and how much support and comfort he brought when he shared his life with me. I miss him. I miss him so very much. I missed him terribly when i moved, i looked forward to the day we would see each other again. I had hoped i had one more chance at least. It kills me i will never have that chance.
i promise you buddy one day we will be together and get to see each other. I'm so sorry i wasn't there for your last moments. I thought we had more time together. I hope that wherever you are, you are happy and safe and loved. Know that i love you and that i will continue to miss you forever.
