Ahhhh. Yeah, a few dollar stores here tried to do the leave your bags at the counter thing, but it didn't seem to last long. I know for walkers like me it can make stores pretty inaccessible when they do things like telling you that you have to leave your bags in a locker at the door, depending on how they set things up. But I was talking about buying at the conventions when I was talking about walking around with bags.

Mouth is sooorre. Got three fillings today. One at the gumline in front, and one in the back where a faulty filling broke the tooth years ago (they nearly had to rebuild that tooth, the filling had been breaking again). And none of these fillings are metal! I was so surprised. They're resin.

We're on spring break in the local school district, which means mom is getting on my last nerves. She tried to justify the breaking of some of my belongings by claiming I was "ruining her house". *massive eye roll*

We're clearing out old electronics. I got to take a hammer to seven hard drives from six old computer towers that we're taking to be recycled on the 5th of April.

Yeah, the lady seems to be flip proof. Or maybe it's all the sparklets that pile on into the hammock with them. LOL

This dentist, on the day I got the fillings (non metal ones!), was worried I'd break Rapunzel because of how tense I was when he gave me the freezing shot. I heard him making relieved words when he saw that I had set her down on my tummy and was just holding hands with myself.

I guess. lol

yeah, I documented the shit out of the incident that resulted... she and I ended up in a screaming match and she accidentally hit me with an empty roll of duct tape that she'd meant to throw in the trash. I have a slight bruise from it, and my offline friends know what's up so if I ended up showing up on their stoop, they'd know why.

Aw, he was worried you'd break something important to you. My previous dentist, before I had to go and find a new one because of insurance, thought it was great that I would bring a stuffie with me for comfort during fillings and the like.

The dental hygienist who cleaned these teeth has a small collection of little guys. She wants to see the crochet critters that I have for sale, but I think they're all too big for her. I bought her a bitty 3D printed alien, and I hope to make a mushroom baby that she can adopt sometime soon.

lol Well, considering I had a bit of a breakdown today at the psych doc's office (routine medicine check, nothing to worry about there, though I am 5 pounds heavier than I was three months ago) about the whole incident, I'm still a bit sore, emotionally. Right after it happened, I screamed at her that that was NOT okay.

Heck, that's a better response than I would've done a few years ago. Few years ago, if I'd have had something in my hands, I'd have chucked it at her and then screamed at her.

Brave is one of my favs.

Because Medicaid doesn't generate profits the way private insurance does, it's hard to find a place that does take my dental insurance.

*more hugs* I'm glad you still get to see a psych doc. I don't see the psychologist anymore because the new one that replaced my old one didn't know how to handle my random emails, so I decided she was too busy and I'd leave her to the people who really needed her help.

Awww. I'm really grateful that the AISH dental covers what I really need. Also that the sharp corner is filed off that back tooth so that when I bite myself on days when I talk a lot, it doesn't hurt as badly.

we don't even have a Walmart here in town, much less a JoAnn's.

I'm in the "Maintenance" phase. We'll be lowering one of my meds in three months to see how I do on 150mg of buproprion instead of 300mg, as that's my med goal for this year.

I wish we had single-payer healthcare like y'all have. That'd make things SO MUCH easier for millions of people AND the government.
