When I first joined and was very active, I had a blast making rooms for my knuffles. I'm glad Firn hasn't programmed in cobwebs. Their poor rooms would be a dustbunny haven after how long it's been since I've touched them.
What an entertaining image, though!
And a clever mechanism for games/sites, too. You could turn it into a whole thing; decorated areas left to go fallow gradually accumulate grime, dust, and cobwebs. People can enter friends' areas to clean them up, fight Dust Bunnies like wild foes, and collect spindles of cobwebs that become a material/quest item to turn into something or other.
It would encourage interaction even with inactive accounts, which means if your friends are active you interact normally and if they gradually drop off the site, their inactivity spawns almost dungeon-like mini-quests for the friends still playing, which encourages them to stay longer...
You could also give some form of bonus for people who regularly update and clean the decorated areas, to encourage both forms of game play.
Hm
I kind of want to flesh out this idea more and see if I can't use AI to help me program this game, now.
