I'm actually glad the pop-up alert recurs like that. I'd definitely miss some of the Lost items without it going off like an overanxious sibling trying to bring you somewhere.

are the reminders based on a timer?
Or based on the number of pages you've navigated around KofK before picking it up?

I think popups for lost items will appear after browsing a few pages if you don’t pick up the item. It’ll just keep reminding you for a day or so before it’s gone.

Seems right.... if you stay on the same page, or just move to one new page after the first pop-up alert, it wouldn't just show up, no?
It definitely only pops up the first time you land on a page in KofK, that part is certain.
But... if it's on a timer, then if you're on the first page for a long time, it might automatically show up the very next page you navigate to.
If it's based on how many refreshes or pages you visit, then you could quickly page through a thread, for instance, and not see the pop-up for several pages.
Or maybe it's a combo of some kind. Every X many pages, but no sooner than Y (so if you quickly navigate around, can you see many alerts within a single minute? Or will you only see another alert after a set amount of time has passed?)....

Lol I dunno. I usually see it again after a few page visits but it would also make sense if it’s on a timer. Like maybe a 1-2 min timer lol. Like hitting the snooze button on your alarm lol.

I've gone and found an egg timer so I can do these water balloons more efficiently!
