Lotus root is my favorite root veggie, followed by ube, and then by purple skin white flesh sweet potato, and then by cassava (in chips or in buns and tapioca balls is how I've had the cassava). The first two aren't possible to get around here that I've seen yet, except in chips or in ice cream flavour. I love Filipino ube ice cream.

The packages of frozen ones that I get come with the coconut chutney that you're to eat on them too. That is GOOD chutney.
