No rain here today, but they say it's coming back for the next couple days. They're hoping that this wet May will break the drought.

I hear that wildfire season is staring early in parts of Canada. And I hope it doesn’t get as bad as last year, we were affected even in Ontario. I even got an air purifier and we had to keep windows and doors closed bc we could smell the smoke from here.
Ohhh I’ve seen so much mermay on Twitter lol. Reading threadfics and such.

We've been getting smoke from a wildfire in mexico recently. I need to buy an air filter too but I'm so broke I have to shove money into my savings account and forget about it. X_X

I bought one last year from Amazon, it’s also a humidifier. I dunno if it actually does anything but my mom thinks there’s an improvement to air quality in my room lol. Wildfire season was particularly bad last year.

I really hope it doesn't get as bad as it did last year. I live on the coast of the gulf of Mexico, about 45 mins away, and we had two hurricanes about four years ago. I'll probably never forget how long ago it was because I had to be induced while I was evacuated.

Yeah the wildfire smoked drifted off to Ontario. You could actually smell it, it smelled like some one burning incense. And the skies were just cloudy all the time.

The other day it was really thick and we could barely drive through it. I don't do well in conditions like that so if I were driving I'd pull over.

I really thought my town was on fire, which is a BAAD thing here. We're mostly industrial processing plants. If something that isn't supposed to be on fire -its bad-.

Yeah that would be bad. Last year, I think we got wildfires too in Ontario, altho thankfully not in my area. Still that’s like scary, to have these things so close to home.
