I just got nervous because Easter is coming up, and was worried if it was your first Chick, you might not understand exactly what you were getting into. I also work in a Humane Society- the one I work at is Urban, so only dogs and cats, but my hometown has chickens and roosters and rabbits and what not- and tend to have a spike around this time because of unproper purchases...

people getting them and not knowing anything on how to care for them. I live with my bf's family and they own a chicken farm x3 mostly for eggs so almost every chicken is a hen lol but I'm allowed to have a rooster if I happen to get one :] just have to keep it away from the others XD My two babies Blueberry and Mango are my two pets :] they stay in the house XD and my new one will be staying in the house too with them

we just got to make sure they get along lol or someone is going in a new coop lol
