the family took a vote and everyone picked Cluck Norris my bf especially liked this one lol

I do have other chickens :) they are all slikies lol have 11 outside that are basically not named lol and then I have my two personal babies Blueberry and Mango x3 and soon a 3rd one who is also going to be my own baby lol the ones outside without names belong to my bfs father.

That really awesome. I grew up rural- we didn't really have chickens, the snakes often ate them, as well as the foxes, but the ducks were what we used to produce eggs.

I just got nervous because Easter is coming up, and was worried if it was your first Chick, you might not understand exactly what you were getting into. I also work in a Humane Society- the one I work at is Urban, so only dogs and cats, but my hometown has chickens and roosters and rabbits and what not- and tend to have a spike around this time because of unproper purchases...

I don't know if this is a temporary chick-raised-until-it's-dinner or a permanent pet, and if permanent if a male or a female, but here are some of my favorite chicken names:

oh yeah that is really sad to see, people getting them and not knowing anything on how to care for them. I live with my bf's family and they own a chicken farm x3 mostly for eggs so almost every chicken is a hen lol but I'm allowed to have a rooster if I happen to get one :] just have to keep it away from the others XD My two babies Blueberry and Mango are my two pets :] they stay in the house XD and my new one will be staying in the house too with them we just got to make sure they get along lol or someone is going in a new coop lol
