I have just bought a tablet, which I'm gonna use for work only.
There was an offer for tablet + book cover which was very interesting and I bought it.
The tablet is a S7 model and the book cover said S7+, but of course it ought to be a typo because nobody in their senses would sell a tablet with the book cover for another one.
Only it was not.
And I have just received my brand new tablet with a cover that does not fit.


Have you ever had this sort of issue?
Small print, misleading titles?

Well, it turned out for good.
I sold the (original) cover in eBay for a discounted price, and with the money I had more than enough to buy a (non-original) cover.
It was a hassle though.

I usually read the tiny print, just in case there is something fishy.
But this was the brand own website, and I genuinely thought it was a typo. Because who would sell such a weird combination?



It was great that you could get a refund on that item. Some sellers/stores are so nice.


I guess I've made some mistakes buying online.
I remember this time booking a flight and looking for good pricing - which depends on which days you fly. So there were two options: one meant doing a 7-day trip, the other one meant a 10-day trip.
We discussed it and we agreed on the later, so I went online inmediately and booked... the former.
It was so silly!
Not a big deal anyway, it was a nice option too, but just the opposite of what we had just agreed on!

I always wonder whether the people who get disparangely different things (toys instead of real thing) really had read the item info before buying.
I sell in eBay and I've noticed this trend in buyers who do not read the description at all. And even the title!
Same with some Amazon reviews, which complain about things being the way they are actually described - but they only checked the photo before buying.

That of course does not explain bad quality stuff.
Like missing pieces, wrong sizing, wrong material, whatever. That's the sellers fault.

I do not buy much online though.
I prefer going to physical stores whenever possible.

Yeah, people don't care to read and then they complain.
You buy something that you don't want, well, it's your fault. Don't go blaming a seller who provided all the correct information.

Also some honest mistakes are acceptable, specially if the seller makes up to you.



Btw I don't know if it's a worldwide thing or only happens here, but in the last years the deliveries services have gotten worse and worse and worse.
Just today they delived my husband's parcel to another person... who does not even live in the same village as us This person was expecting another parcel and did not care to check the name, just opened it - and then realized the mistake, saw the phone number on the label and phoned us.

It's such an idiotic mistake, but delivery people are overworked (and also poorly paid) so this kind of errors are becoming more and more frequent.

It's been a long time since I've done this, but I used to order batches of clothes off like Chinese wholesale sites when I was younger (it worked out better for the shipping if you bought a lot at once). It was a lot like gambling LOL. You had to stare at the pictures and descriptions and try to bet how likely the product was to be anything like what you figured you were buying. A lot of the stuff wasn't even close LOL.

I ended up getting pretty good at it, so I got some great deals. But I'm sure more than a few people ordered without realizing and ended up super disappointed 8U

And what would you do with the clothes that do not fit you? Reselling them?
Because I can't imagine myself buying a nearly-random batch of clothes and liking most of them

The ratio was surprisingly okay once I figured out what to avoid, I wore most of the stuff I got. Some of it I got my mom to fix up a bit, because she's a seamstress. Occasionally things were just straight up causalities though, they went to the thrift store LOL.
