Haha, I kinda liked the quest option there. :)

I like this place for chatting, but besides that and making lots of avatars, there's not much to do here.

I really should stop procrastinating though, I promissed to test a top, but I'm kinda dreading starting it. I did prepare the pattern, it's not that much work.. I think. :> Tomorrow I'll cut. And finish. xD

I guess I mainly want chatting ^-^
And I do chat a lot xD

A top? Like clothes?
Clumsy person speaking here, I'm impressed someone can make a patter and cut clothes and make something wearable.

Yeah, like clothes. I did not make the pattern, I just printed it, lengthened it and cut it out. A top is like, 4 pieces, this one will be 6, 'cause it has snaps up front and a band.

People always selling men 8u

I was watching something on Youtube and it was about a haunted hotel in Jefferson Texas.
Despite being from Texas, I didn't know where Jefferson was so I went on Google.
I typed in "Jefferson Tex--" and Google gave me "You wanted the haunted hotel in Jefferson Texas u8?"
>>
I know Google owns Youtube and all but that weirded me out xD

My great aunt used to sew a lot. She made me a couple of vests to wear.
I think I still have one.

Hahaha, Google knows your preferences XD

My grandma used to knit. She made me quite a bit of sweaters when I was a child.
But I did not learn any of it.
I wish I had, but to be honest it never was the kind of thing I was interested in when I was younger.

It wasn't my interest either, but hormones do weird things with you. Though, no, I kinda felt sorry for the old work jeans my husband was throwing out, so when gran offered me her old sewing machine, I jumped on it. The opportunity then. Used it to fix some stuff, but mainly to sew a quilt. :3 From the old jeans a tee and a leftover curtain (I bought 4, though needed only 3.

That was... 11 or 12 years ago. Knitting I only learnt last winter. Always said I'd never learn it and then the cherry sweater came along and I wanted it. Without paying 300 dollars for it. Soo, had to learn how to knit.

I never had interest in gardening. Nor cleaning. But otherwise, many interests. I once wanted to draw. Build websites. Gave up on all of those.

I also have many interests, and I tend to jump from one another.

I like cooking, and I have a recipes blog - on hiatus since the covid thing started.
I don't do the cleaning now (hubby's task) but when I did I enjoyed researching homemade cleaning products.
I used to draw when I was much younger, but I stopped in my twenties - too busy with studies, and I realized I did not have talent to pursue it as anything else but a hobby.
I learned to build websites (plenty of online tutorials), learned PHP to create useffel.info - probably my best piece of work.
Now I'm fully into LaTeX, which is a is a software system to create documents, specially those which require mathematical content. I'm making textbooks with it.

I like excel, loved using it for forms and such during college, but don't need it as much anymore. Also, I knew quite a lot of formula's, but I caved in and switched to a Hungarian version. Besided the fact I still live in 2007 windows-wise (the new one's have more pictograms, but less options... D:) I only use it for work reasons, less for fun stuff.

I'm not precise enough for those things, like. bookkeeping isn't my thing either, I'm more the "it'll work" kinda person. And often it does. Not when you're writing code for Gaia profiles and mess up a few lines. xD

I kinda stunk at drawing as well, no talent there.

So happy everyone has his/her own specialities. :)

Yeah.
Some people have one very specific niche, and they excel in that one.
Others have a wider range of them, even if they don't stand out in any.
Either way, it's cool.

There are few things as sad as a person without any interest.

If I were to sew or knit, I'd just end up stabbing myself or sewing something onto my skin 8u
I've had people tell me that's impossible with knitting but they must not know me very well.
I could hurt myself with a piece of fuzz 8u

I always wanted to learn how to cook. I can cook small things, but I definitely would live of pre-made food or easy to cook food.

I think being an artist is runs in my family. My grandpa was a singer with his own band. He wrote songs and could play guitar too.
My dad and two cousins used to draw.
I actually would cry a lot because their art was good and mine sucked xD;
