I mean I can relate with being the guest who takes forever to leave
10 minutes to actually do leave seems perfectly reasonable.

Now I have my son to remind me we were leaving, so I can't really overdo it.

Oh, my family has the exact same habit. they all take at least half an hour of "we'll be leaving" while still being in the living room, chatting with everybody, then another half hour in the hall, putting shoes and coats on and still chatting, then chatting some more fully clothed XD Meanwhile my introverted ass is like "stop yapping and let's come home already "

Hahaha, that's why my husband thinks of me, I'm afraid.
I'm an introverted person but also a talkative one. Quite a conundrum.
So I'm really looking forward being alone, but when I'm with people it's very complicated for me just saying goodbye in an straightforward manner - feels quite rude to me.

I agree that just saying "ok, bye" is quite rude, so usually when the other person doesn't stop talking I don't know how to interrupt them and tell them nicely that I want to be gone It's the worst with elderly people

I speak a lot when I'm nervous.
And I'm usually nervous in social situations, so people tend to think I'm a very social person.
But it drains me so much I need to get some alone time to recover.

I sometimes talk when nervous and sometimes I can't say a word I don't know what's my deal
I don't speak up if there's more than 3 people talking, including myself. I just listen and observe, so I look like a creep (probably).

I tried the Lime Green + Ocher combo you mentioned, but I could not help bringing in some Coffee because I could not make it work without it.
I don't think I love it, but it's something worth experimenting with.

When I reach my 'social' limit I actually just start looking away from the person that is talking to me.

I'm talkative both when I am nervous and when I am comfortable. But I can also go completely silent and observe. :}

I'm usually silent when I'm very new to a social enviroment. But it does not last very long.

I guess I'm quite adapted to look like an extrovert, but actually my social life is very limited and I like it that way.

@Amura: Yeah, some color combos are tough because other combos are in the way... It's also possible I messed up some colors and it was one of the Grays maybe XD Unfortunately there's not many combos of murky/greyish colors with a splash of more lively ones. Which is a pity, because murky avatars aren't very interesting

I'm quiet most of the time, everyone who knows me, knows. I'm only chatty in writing, because I can really think on what I want to say and how to word my thoughts etc. I panic in person and end up saying stuff a bored person would say "mhm, uhuh, okay, right" and so on... I must seem rude and uninterested Especially I start yawning whenever the other person is speaking even though I'm really interested in what they're saying.

@Dream: I tend to only keep eye contact when the other person is speaking, and even then most of the time I look at the lips, to better focus on what they're saying. When I'm the one speaking I just look at anything around
When my social battery is drained I become grumpy or groggy or both. And easily irritated.
