I think Arceus looks like what I wanted from swsh. I just think the battles were lame, like they were still static and now like doing more movement for the moves? Does that make sense? I really liked the wild area though. I totally got too OP for the game because of that lol. Yeah they are remaking diamond and peal, but meh, I never got into those games the first time because that was the moment in my life when I decided I was too old for pokemon...for like a year. So I was late getting them and playing them.

Right? My sister got it and wouldn't stop harassing me to get it. I never did. She got a switch for that and luigi's mansion 3. She also plays all of my nephew's games too (I got him all the new pokemon games so she's played those lol)

You know what's funny and I only just realized this since Mangadex finally got it so I can view my to-read list again (I was so happy I almost cried) and with my manga I go by summary because I got a lot of ecchi and fanservice-y manga on my to-read list and one really ecchi one is horror/gore. I just find it so amusing that my way of picking anime vs manga are a complete 180.
Yeah, I'm a stubborn potato tho and I'll watch an anime to it's end even though I'll sit and bitch about it the entire time I'm watching it. lol. Either I watch it or it'll go on my on-hold. Like an anime has to be horribly fanservice, pointless, with big tiddies (If you haven't noticed I love the word tiddies a lot more than I should) for me to drop. Ah I mostly listen to jpop anymore. I listen to koto and shamisen music on occasions on youtube, but more jpop because that's on my amazon music, which is what I was to listen to music when I drive or do stuff around the house. but I like the traditional chinese/japanese music/instruments. My mom took me to a chinese play/musical/dance thing around 5-6 years ago. I loved it, but my mom said she would have never gone if it weren't for me. lol

I don't really use Mangadex lol. Since it went down, I used Bato and being able to bookmark the stuff I might want to read has been soooooo helpful. And I mainly read like so much isekai....and yaoi lol.

I was all over the release news for that lol. It looks like it's going to be open world. Someone described it as breath of the wild, but with pokemon. Oh my gosh yeah I did too. Like you had to have certain gym badges to catch some pokemon, but my pokemon were OP so it was frustrating I can't catch this pokemon that's a lower level than mine. lol. Plus I liked how everyone gained exp so it made my short-lived goal of doing to the pokedex easy. lol.

OH GOD I am so glad I never got into that. I stopped myself because I knew I would get addicted and I have enough other things I want to do in my day than that. My friend always complains about how much money she spends in it to get something she wants. Which is a big turn-off, because I am a total sucker for going until I get what I want. She has spent probably over $1000 CAD. I can only imagine how much I would have lost because of that. Like I 100% have no problem donating money to sites for their currency if that means they can still keep running, but a gacha style game, no thanks. I learned my lesson hard. Which is also why I have a limit on how much I spend a month of app games.

Ah, I've been slowly moving back to using mangadex because I still like how the reader looks. I hate how the site is rn, but I just read yesterday that the version that is out there is the mobile version (which still ew because I use my tablet to read), but the desktop site will look a lot like how it used to be. So fingers crossed I can get the desktop version to work on my tablet. I don't mind isekai, but all the ones I usually come across are fanservice/ecchi. I read so many different varieties, but I have a soft spot for horror/mystery. Which is funny because I can't stand horror movies or shows because they freak me out too much.

I used to be able to use a flashdrive to watch anime I downloaded, but that no longer works so I use my laptop connected to the tv with a hdmi cord. Which is annoying because it won't play the sound through the tv, but just from my laptop. I've tried everything to make it play through the tv but it won't. It did it for a few episodes of bleach and I was super shocked. but then it wouldn't do it again the next day when I watched more episodes.

I've always been paranoid someone would read my stuff because lmao, I tried to write "steamy" scenes (which btw I can't because I start laughing because I'm immature and they come out written bad) so I wouldn't trust someone to get on the shared computer to find the files. If I had a usb I would have probably used it then. But handwritten was the best because my mom would think it was school work and wouldn't touch it. lol. I haven't used a pencil in years but I can totally see myself scribbling it out mistakes out of habit now.

Might be because of the type of audio files/file names being used. Like I know some devices won't allow you to watch something unless its a certain file type. Also there's different types of audio so depending on what the type of audio file it is, it might change it. I dunno, I remember trying to listen to music I downloaded into an external harddrive and connecting it to the tv but it would only play file names that were in English and would 90percent of the time, not play music written in another language. xD;; its weird.

See I like mangadex because no ads and I've disliked batoto since it changed ownership. I used batoto when mangadex was down and for one of the mangas I read I had to go to three different pages for the same manga because each manga page for it had different chapters. It was so annoying. I use mangago for the BLs >_>
IKR many a large blankets were knitted while watching anime and I believe if it weren't for that I would probably have dropped a lot of shows. Now I'm onto simple socks that I'm a complete newb at (I am almost done with pair #3 but I've only been working on them during anime so one day a week since I only watch seasonals during the weekends and usually on Sundays)
Well the weird thing is I can choose for the audio to go through my tv, but it won't, but when I go back to my laptop it won't play the sound, which is annoying because I have to close out of it and reopen it. Which means dragging all the episodes to it one by one because the episodes won't be in order if I do all at once (and they don't have the episode number in the title so I can't just sort by title) That's weird though. I never used my eHD straight to my tv though so I don't know how that would work. I know I can put a usb in there, but that's beyond me after that. lol.

LOL I didn't have my own laptop till I was 17-18 so yeah. My mom knows enough about computers that I didn't trust myself to not be caught. My sister got caught reading smut and that got me paranoid. EVEN though there were times I had totally read a BL while sitting in the same room as her when I got my laptop.

I remember how I loved the characters for this other game, Food Fantasy. They based all their characters on food items and it was SO AFFIN CUTE. But trying to collect every characters was like a PAIN and SO EXPENSIVE. When I heard of Genshin and heard it was GACHA, I was like "NOT AGAIN NO THANK YOU" and that was that.

I don't remember when I got my first laptop either. TBH, I had to share our first computer with my sister for the most part. My parents would rarely use it themselves. My aunt in HK bought a laptop which was mainly for my younger sister's use, although I sometimes would borrow it. When my sister started university, my aunt again bought a laptop for her and I started exclusively using the now "old" laptop which my sister had messed up (some of the keys were missing because she was "cleaning" it by forcing the keys out and stuff). I got a few more years of use out of the old laptop before it started REALLY going: blacking out once it started heating up, entire rows of keys not working, etc etc. That's when I had no other choice but to get a new laptop. I think it was in my late 20s, almost 30s at that point lol. Although, I guess I DID exclusively have the "old laptop" for several years........still I was at least in my 20s at that time lol. I've never been caught reading yaoi or smut (even though I also have yaoi mangas), so I'm safe? I don't think my parents even know I read that stuff, even though I have like.....large wall posters of Yuri on Ice? XD on my half of the room on the walls? XD I'm planning on switching them out one day, for my MDZS (Mo Dao Zu Shi / Founder of Diabolism / Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) wall posters lol.

I was in college and I mentioned to the person that sat next to me about how I enjoy watching (youtube) videos of people playing games when I did homework and she was trying to get me to watch her boyfriend's twitch because he streamed LoL.
Lmao. That makes sense to me. I probably won't ever play it because for the most part, I avoid mmo's because damn, I remember people being mean and bullying me because I played for fun and not for competitive reasons. lol. Luckily I had found a group of people in the last mmo I really played and we would do dungeons together and we know how we were so there was no finger pointing or blaming when something didn't go right. The next mmo I played it was back to blaming me for sucking (because I am always drawn to the tank classes lol) and I said frick it, I'm done. Haven't touched an mmo that relies heavily on having a party to accomplish stuff. I played an mmo mobile game that was easy to do by yourself without a party for a while.

Oh I love the Zelda franchise. The 3DS was awesome, but at some point in my life, the 3D effects would hurt my eyes too much so I had to turn off the 3D. The newer model like tracked your face to help keep the 3D in focus, but that still hurt my eyes. I can see how would make you sick and dizzy though. Breath of the Wild...I honestly don't know how to describe it tbh. It's just Zelda, but without the dungeons. You can fight what I guess you can call dungeons in this game in any order you want. You can go anywhere on the map you want at any time. There are also shrines that are like mini-dungeons, tests. I dunno how well I made sense there. BUT it's just open world, go fight whoever you want at any time. Nothing is off limits.

OMG I played that! I stopped because I just never downloaded it onto my new phone like 2 years ago (only got a new phone because the battery wouldn't hold a charge =/ I miss that phone so much.) I think I never put real money into it, but so many cute characters I loved. I was just happy getting the characters I wanted.

LMAO Most of things I knit at basic. Like when I do blankets, once I get it set up, I just pick a type of stitch to do (I am so basic I didn't know how to read patterns until 4-5 years after starting) and do that on repeat for the whole thing. Socks are the most complicated things I do, but I haven't started anything fancy for them so the most difficult part is casting on, the heel turn/flap, and binding off otherwise just basic knit stitched in the round. (I use the magic loop method if you wanted to know lol). I tried a loom (frame things I think you are talking about) and it was so difficult I quit (It was a sock one). But knitting has become second nature when I watch anime now lol.

First season of the I'm the villainous, all routes lead to death (Still not sure about the correct title lol). Yeah that one. I had to google cuz I literally don't know what the real title is lol! I am so bad with that in general with almost all animes now unless they have short titles.

Yeah I only got into Bato after Mangadex went down and translators started posting there. And you can read long strip on Mangago? Sure, you have to sign in but Mangago is nice and it saves where you last read and there's a history of what you've read so you can easily go back to it. Like I was reading this one manga on mobile and computer but when I close everything, it would log me out so thankfully it saves where I last read to.

Yeah my sister broke several keys before it was handed over to me. I made do with an on-screen keyboard and that worked out for awhile. Until it started blackscreening and shutting down when it heated up lol. I think the reason it lasted so long was because it was sturdy. And, according to some people, Japanese products last longer (the laptop was a Fujitsu).

Yeah my mom complained about my posters in my school days, when I had a bunch Bleach posters up on my walls. She said that there were too many swords/sharp objects and that's an indication of killing intent and was bad fengshui. I just thought she was being silly so I completely ignored that. As for buying anime merch......well most of the stuff NOW that I get (which isn't a lot, considering) is ordered online. They're mainly for MDZS (the series I mentioned before) like Nendos and Japanese monthly magazines with MDZS wall posters (which was where I also got my YOI posters as well lol). Before I started ordering stuff online, I was mainly getting anime stuff from conventions. I've never been to Japan before. 8U I would like to.....one day. Maybe not now though. Recommendations of animes/dramas that are wuxia/xianxia? Uh.....well if you like yaoi/BL like me, you could always check out "The Untamed." It was really popular like.........2 years ago? It even got onto Netflix, although I'd prefer you watch the original airing order, the Netflix version starts off weird. Basically the storyline is about a demonic cultivator who dies and is summoned back from the dead and his journey to prove his innocence. The thing was, he never wanted to be a demonic cultivator but he had no choice. He's joined by his childhood friend/rival who is secretly in love with him. The series goes through some of their past and gradually goes back into present time. The Netflix version starts off in the past (which was originally played as a flashback in the original airing) before going to present time. The original ORIGINAL storyline in the novel has the main character waking up after being summoned back and throughout the novel, there are flashbacks into the past before going back to present time. The music is GORGEOUS and this drama was based off the series I was talking about earlier, Mo Dao Zu Shi (Founder of Diabolism/Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation). The novel for MDZS is GREAT, there's a donghua (chinese animation) and a manhua for it so you should really check it out!

The more recent one I watched and haven't finished yet is "Word of Honor."" It's ALSO a BL drama (LOL) and is based on the novel by Priest, "Faraway Wanderers." I really REALLY like this series because one of the characters in the main pairing, Wen Kexing, has these totally flirty bedroom eyes and he's always flirting with the other guy like........CONSTANTLY. And its PRICELESS and its HILARIOUS and its just AAAAAAAAAH.

You can watch both on Youtube with English Subs, I think. I watched some of the episodes on Youtube myself. The Tencent channel.

Okay so I was watching this pokemon nuzlock stream (well full video on youtube) while I'm laying around miserable Sunday (pretty sure my leftovers went bad and I gave myself food poisoning because I felt like death for two days) and the person mentioned it's LoL but for kids lol. Lol I don't even remember who all of the characters were. I remember there was this one mobile game I played and put serious money into it, but I broke that phone and....the game never actually linked with my google account. I was so mad and sad I never went back to it.

Oh I never bothered signing up for mangago (or the new batoto) because I only use mangago for BL (or if I there is a chapter missing from either mangadex or batoto). Like not that big of a deal. If I used it more than just that I probably would have made an account and knew about that lol.

I mean you could arm knit. LOL once you get used to it it's easy. RN I have a pair of socks I need to finish so I'm in decreases and I end up checking how many stitches I got left between episodes. Or I'll pause it. lol. It's all about repetitions for me.

Okay. I call it otome-game too. I'm so bad with titles I end up making up my own for some so when I talk about it I have to usually look up the real title lol.

Yeah, I heard that too about Japanese products lasting longer. Not like most products that are made to break after so long. Actually surprised my current laptop is still kicking. I want a desktop computer so bad, but I might just get a newer lighter laptop to replace my current laptop and my surface tablet (it does this weird glitchy thing when I use the detachable keyboard with it so I hardly use it anymore). I have my amazon fire tablet I use like all the time tho.

I mostly buy manga online nowadays. The stores here suck. I do occasionally buy figures, but I've mostly stuck to one character. lol. I've never been to a convention! I want to someday but alas, I'm too shy to go by myself and I know no one will come with me because they aren't interested and would probably freak out if I nerd out too hard. Yeah, someday once covid clears up I'd like to go to Japan. I haven't watched any of the olympics yet. I went in 2019 and we passed by the stadium where the olympics are taking place at tho so that's something.

OH MY GOSH LOL I can't read romance novels really. It gets too romantic for me. loool. I like my fantasy books with a splash of romance really. kettle of fish? I've never heard of that phrase before. I love it. I feel like if I use it irl people think I'm making stuff up. lol.

I will see if I can find that. TBF I'm not a big fan of "live action" BL or anime BL tbh. Just so awks if you ask me. I'll have to check it out. I will try and find it somewhere besides netflix tho because of that. That annoys me when they change the order of things or try to branch too far away from the original language (like I notice the subs in anime don't match up to what was actually said from my very limited vocabulary of Japanese, but enough to know what was just said isn't what the subs have). I will try and check these out when I have time. Sine I should have more time now! Because I am not going to be busy after work for a while! OR not every day out of the week! WOO

Okay must ask, is the BL awkward? I really can't do it if it's awkward. I mean I am not a fan of romance in general in TV shows either, but if I really get into the characters I will start cheering for them when they finally get together and/or kiss LOL. put a lot of PDA just embarrasses me I guess. Like I get so bad that even sometime when I read any something awkward is about to happen I get embarrassed for the characters and I have to stop reading for a while (or pause whatever I'm watching LOL) and let that feeling pass. lol. But I'm definitely going to check these two out.

It took me forever to write this because I got to work early and started this then wrote a little reply each time I got a break in what I was doing at work and finished during lunch. Now lunch is like over. Usually I read a couple chapters on a manga during my lunch. No I spent it writing a lot. and I was so slow typing for some reason which probably took forever. Like I was like "no" when I saw this and I was on my tablet LOL and I wasn't on my laptop at all over the weekend because busy/sick.

LoL for kids.....XD I guess it makes sense in a way. After all, there's "jungling" in the center part of the arena, where you fight pokemon in order to level up (because apparently, if you pick a pokemon that has evolutions, you have to level them EVERY TIME you start a new battle) and pick up upgrades and berries and the like. And the goals are the towers and by scoring goals, you destroy them.....XDDDDD and YEAH paywalled pokemon is just UMPH in the kokoro especially for my fave pokemon of all time.........Dx and yeah, I play single player for the most part. Even the fact that Unite has you playing with other people......its really just a free-for-all lol. No tactics, just.......do whatever you like lol. Unless maybe if you have a set player team or something and like you get together online and schedule out when you all play or something, I dunno.....
Also, I hope you feel better now....D: I don't think I've ever gotten sick from eating bad leftovers, since we tried to get rid of leftovers as soon as possible.

Nope, I've never played Skyrim lol. And YEAH that's the only thing I remember from the 3DS Ocarina...me wandering around on my horse and trying and FAILING to fly and catch chickens. That's it. XD

Yeah well its practically a given that Chinese products aren't as sturdy as Japanese products. I dunno, ppl in HK seem to think "Japanese is better" which is why our first laptop was from a Japanese company. XD I'm very careful with the stuff I have because chances are if something breaks, it might take a long LONG time for me to be able to replace it because of costs. So I don't throw my laptop around everywhere and mainly use it on a flat surface and keep it on a flat surface like my bedside table.

She's ASIAN. And SUPERSTITIOUS and believes in some Feng Shui things and stuff. She was raised in a very traditional family and, before covid, we would go pray at the Buddhist temple before and after every Chinese New Year with offerings of fruit and flowers and oil (for the oil burners in the temple).

Ohhhhhhhhh romance novels are literal CRINGE fests and like so cliched but I used to DEVOUR those like chips. XD especially historical ones because I'd get to read descriptions of pretty clothes and stuff. All those turn of the era, European fashions.....*u* AND YES, kettle of fishhhh. It's not ALL bad. I watched Super Lovers and Yuri on Ice and Hitorijime My Hero and Gravitation and they're all BL. Also, the two live action BLs I just recommended, "Word of Honor" and "The Untamed", they're really good! But for "The Untamed," yeah stick with the original airing order because Netflix screws it up. And read the novel/manga/donghua as well (under the name Mo Dao Zu Shi/Founder of Diabolism/Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation). "Word of Honor" is also based off a novel but I never read it. I did read MDZS though and its great!

The BL is NOT awkward at ALL. China has a lot of censorship when it comes to live action BL so it comes off as more of a bromance than BL. So if you just think of it as two guys who are just REALLY friendly with another, than you're fine. But yes, please check them outttttt.

Speaking of how they try to dub Chinese shows into English, I remember the absolute CRINGEFEST which was the Chinese movie "Yin Yang Master: Dream of Eternity." It's on Netflix as well but please PLEASE watch it in Chinese. The moment I heard how the English sounded, I literally couldn't stop laughing and it was just CRIIIIIIIIINGE. It took me so long to find the original Chinese language version with English subs (I don't have Netflix so I had to find it on my own lol). BTW, its also got some pretty BL/bromancy overtones and is based on the Onmyouji series. The main characters are Qingming and Boya and they're great together! I especially love the theme song sung by Deng Lun (the actor for Boya).
