First Riverdale and the disgusting things they did to Archie and the Gang, now Nancy Drew. What in the world were they thinking? Maybe these are good shows and just not my thing, but they are in no way what they're taking the names from. You don't takes something good and pure and turn it into trash.
I'll be honest I haven't watched Nancy Drew at all, but I force my self to watch most of the first season of Riverdale and well from the commercials for Nancy Drew.... does anyone else feel this way or is it not something you ever care for.

i watched some of the first season of Riverdale, and i certainly felt like they were turning the show into the exact opposite of what long time fans that grew up with the comics would like.
Kinda like what they did with the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. I liked the first season, but they lost me in the most recent one.
i haven't seen the trailers for Nancy Drew, but it's sad to hear they're following a trend.

...different strokes for different folks I guess. Having Archie in a relationship with a hot Miss Grundy is not Archie to me. Killing random main characters is also not Archie, I mean Midge, Moose, Dillon. Heck instead of a nerd Dillon was a survivalist.

This is a little off topic, but Netflix also released a trailer for a live action Winx Club TV show and i'm already not thrilled. i absolutely adored the show as a young kid, and what i've seen in the trailer just really disappoints me.

You can't do certain comics, books, or cartoon justice as live action. Harry Potter should have been animated rather than live action. The movies just ...
How do you do something like WINX live action?
