Right then. I'm going to state firsthand that I haven't read all of the web novel, and definitely need to tackle the light novels I have. Or at the very least finish the first one. Despite that, it's an easy enough read to just be casual with. I just have the attention span of a gnat a lot of times.
As for the manga? It's also good in my opinion. This poor guy just dies, reincarnates as a blob, and somehow manages to stumble himself into situations that wind up creating a country. So he's going all "Well.... THIS wasn't planned. Guess I just better go along with it." Good mix of action, light hearted moments, and pacing.
Now switching to the anime. It's pretty faithful to the manga, far as I'm concerned. There's a few episodes that are filler, or seems as much to me. Both dubbed and subbed versions have nice voice acting so you shouldn't feel too bothered? Like, I didn't cringe at anyone's "voice" when they spoke.
So, as far as I'm concerned, the series as a whole is worth a shot.

I can't speak on if the Anime is faithful to the Light Novel, but it didn't seem faithful to the Manga. Certain things are changed about that just change the tone of things a little to much. Like the Fairy demon lord suggesting the artificial spirits rather than Rimaru.

I have watched the show, and enjoyed it enough to go looking for the manga. There are a few spin off manga as well.
I have not read any of the light novels or web novels, but what I have seen I have enjoyed, so I would recommend.
