Raising a kid is hard work.
And even if you do your best, there still can be something that goes wrong.

I love true crime stuff and learning about serial killers and most of them seemed to have had shitty parents, but some of them had loving parents.
Parents who did their best and put their kid first.
Kid still turned into a monster.

Moi-I know. :qsob: At least 30 years would be nice.

Aww. He wanted you to himself.

XD Max too but he goes to the couch and gets it all wet. :/

Typical kid. LOL

I don't know why people have to jump to that conclusion. :qf: When someone doesn't want them it's usually because they recognize just how much work they are and what a commitment they'd be making. I like elephants but I don't want to own one. Can you imagine how much work they are? XD It's so much better than those, like myself, that have them and then realize it's not all fun and games. I think everyone should have to take care of a child for at least 6 months per age group, supervised, before being allowed to have kids. We'd have a lot less unwanted and abused kids. Don't get me wrong, I love my son and I took care of him, but it was extremely difficult and his severe mental problems only made it a million times worse.

You're right. I did what I thought was my best and it still turned out awful. :qd:

Tam-*hugs* I don't blame you. Kids are overrated. XD You're the best doll mom I know though. :qsml:

Oh my God...I have this thing where if I pick up a cat, sometimes they're wet and ask why they're wet.
Me: Awww! -picks cat up- Come here, honey-- WHY ARE YOU WET >8u
These cats will just randomly be wet.
I guess from licking or someone spraying them.
But I don't expect to pick up a wet cat 8u

Because people think they know everything and assume everything u8
It astonishes me that people will hear something and not even question it xD
Yeah, there should be some way to protect kids.
Like the little boy they found dead in the dumpster here earlier this month.
He was 2 years old and his own mom killed him.
He got 2 years of life and didn't do anything wrong and was killed by his own mom.

Man, I was really hoping my sister wouldn't have any mental problems, but she's been diagnosed with having depression and possibly being Bipolar.
She also may be Autistic. We haven't been able to go out of town to get her tested because COVID 19.
But I've had to live with depression and an anxiety disorder and I really didn't want her to go through that pain.

On a side note, I pointed at my dog Hyde and said "I could have nice things if I didn't have you >8u/ -points-" and he licked my finger and it was so cute uB

Moi-Ugh! I wouldn't like that either. I would probably assume it was pee. XD

That's awful! O.O I don't understand how anyone can do that to a little kid. :qsob:

Awww. I'm sorry your sister and the rest of you have to deal with that. *hugs* Mental problems are the pits. I hope she responds well to treatment. That was the biggest problem with my son. Nothing has ever helped him. She'll make it through it. She has a good support system. :qsml:

Do you feel like you have your depression and anxiety basically under control? My anxiety is better than it's ever been thanks to medication, God, and getting older and finally learning how to deal with stuff.

LOL They're totally worth it even when they're bad. Unless they have the sorry, not sorry attitude. XD

Tam-You're welcome. :qsml: Weird is looking lovely today!

She's wearing a comfy dress and playing outside with her pony. I wish I had the energy, and the pony and the meadow to do that. But I'll settle for the fishy wind sock. I love those things and have never found one to buy.

My Kiri used to sit in the sink and tub and she'd be wet sometimes xD
OH. The cat we help care for that we named Rin.
She jumps in our tub and gives herself a bath.
It's the cutest damn thing.
She literally takes a bath in the tub u8

Drugs. She was an addict. Drugs mess people up.
They said his siblings tested positive for meth too.
She wasn't even supposed to have custody.
The father willingly left the kids in her care.
The police got him too.

She seems to be doing better with her new medication.
She still has issues, but we'll work them out.
She smiles and laughs a lot more.
When I was a kid, I didn't know what mental illness was, so I had no idea what was wrong with me xD
At least she knows what's happening and is getting treatment.
It's funny because I try to help her because I've had way more experience with it.
At least my suffering wasn't completely in vain xD?

I think my depression is under control. I experience anxiety on a daily basis.
Especially since people near me constantly trigger it.
It's like walking around on egg shells and glass.
I'm glad it's going good for you 8ub

My Hyde is my baby. He trusts me most and always wants my attention. I love that dog. Even if I want to kick him in the ass sometimes >8u
He has this little mumble/growl that sounds like he's talking shit under his breath.
So I'll tell him to do something and he'll make that noise and I'll tell him to stop talking shit xD
He sounds like a bear too. We've had numerous people tell us he's scary and they're afraid of him.
So when he talks shit, I'm sure people think he's being aggressive because he growls like a bear.
We taught his mother to smile. We'd tell her "Smile!" and she'd snarl.
I'm sure people would find that scary too, but she was just smiling xD

Tam-Me too. We could ride horses together all day long. :qsml: I hope you find one someday. Maybe it could be ordered online for cheap?

Moi-O.O That's hilarious. XD At least she's clean.

Wow. That's just horrible. I can't imagine there being enough drugs to make someone do that. :qsob:

I'm glad she's doing ok. Aww. I'm sorry you had to go through that. When my OCD appeared when I was 6, I didn't know what was going on either, but I knew something was off. Luckily, my dad has it too so he was able to talk to me a little about it.

No, your suffering wasn't in vain. :qh: Suffering allows us to help others and it makes us stronger.

I hope that gets better for you at some point. Anxiety is a tough one. It affects so many aspects of our lives. Thanks, me too. I suffered for most of my life with it.

That is so cute! :qsq: Hyde sounds like an awesome dog. His mom too. I bet that does scare people. XD What kind of dogs are they?

Man, these cats all have their little personalities and it's cute xD

Right?

That's good at least. One of my besties has OCD. It used to be really bad, but she was able to get some control over it.
We used to talk about how people would say "Lul I have OCD!" when they didn't.
My other bestie has Schizophrenia and we had similar conversations.

People want to say "I'm crazy lol!" but my parents always said that if you're really crazy, you don't know you're crazy.

I went through a horrible breakdown regarding my religious upbringing and beliefs.
But in suffering, I gained clarity.
So it was horrible, but I gained something from it.

They're mutts. I know Hyde has rottweiler in him, but other than that I have no idea.
Here's a picture of Hyde and Saya.

Yeah. XD

Good for her. I gained control over mine too. It will always be there but it's manageable even without medication. I learned to fight it. Giving into it is the worst thing a person can do. It was really bad when I was little.

That doesn't bother me because the fact that people would joke about having it, or not mind having it, tells me that the stigma attached to it is better. I can see why it might bother others though. As long as it's not done to make fun of somebody that actually has it, I don't find it offensive.

I think for the most part that's true. My son is...not quite sane. He told me once that he's just sane enough to know that he's not sane. Very sad.

I'm glad that you gained clarity. I would be interested in hearing more about it if you feel like it. I had some similar issues myself and I've only recently come to terms with it. If you don't feel like talking about it, I completely understand. You could PM me if you prefer.

Awww. What gorgeous dogs! :qh: I definitely see the rott in Hyde. Maybe german shepherd too? Saya's eyes are so compelling. I'm thinking she's a lab mix.
