I also think I have Misophonia.
Misophonia may cause a reaction to sounds such as dripping water, chewing, snapping gum, or repetitive noises, such as pencil tapping.
People with Misophonia can become irritated, enraged, or even panicked when they hear their trigger sounds.


There's certain noises that just fill me with violent rage.
Snapping fingers, clapping hands, mostly noises humans make.
Like when people snap their fingers, I want to take a hammer and crush their fingers.
When they're smacking their lips, I want to sew their lips shut.

I haven't told anyone about it because I don't know how it'd be helped.
Clearly asking people to be considerate doesn't work xD

Unfortunately, asking them to stop really does not do anything :(
Except make them angry at you for nothing...

E.g. I have seen people get angry when a pregnant woman asked them to stop smoking close to her on the bus stop...

I hate cigarettes xD
My parents used to smoke (my mom quit) around me all the time.
I'd be having breathing trouble and my mom would just light up a cigarette.

I hate it when people are so inconsiderate when you ask them to stop and they just don't. My roommate has tinnitus so he doesn't realise when he's getting loud so I can forgive him for that but I mean his family know I have sensitive hearing and one of them still insists on singing (yelling) hell of a loud and majorly off key just to affect me when we visit for things like birthdays.

My aunt is loud a lot. She always yells and then bitches at us for being loud when she's the loudest xD
My dad said she's probably hard of hearing, but I don't think so >_>

I'm always trying to be quiet. Especially when people are sleeping.
Meanwhile they just walk around like normal, slam shit, talk loud, come in and turn my light on while I'm asleep and yell in my room and shit >__>

God, yes. I am even preparing stuff in the evening to be more quiet in the morning. Like take out the clothes and pack my bag and so on. Why can't other people do so as well?

My guess is they don't care because it's not them 8u
But I always try to be considerate and I don't get it back.
And when I refuse to do something because I'm tired or sick, I get called selfish and inconsiderate 8u

They think one should not be/feel tired. And that is super idiotic. Why is that not accepted as an "excuse"? They drain us mentally and then wonder why we feel tired.

I got really sick one time and I was puking over and over.
When I stopped, I went to my mom and woke her up and said "Mom, I'm really really sick..." and she said "What do you want me to do about it?" and went back to sleep.
I had to lie in my room, in severe pain and kept having to puke.
I couldn't eat or drink or get out of bed for a few days.

It happened again - same sickness. I asked her to go to the store and get me some anti-nausea medicine and she bitched at me because it was such a hassle for her to go.
She finally got me some, but I ended up rushing to the bathroom to puke.
I was covering my mouth and I tried hard to make it to the toilet, but I didn't and threw up partly on the floor and sink.
She then bitched at me that I puked everywhere and not just in the toilet.

I was sick with a cold or the flu in December and I could barely get out of bed and just wanted to sleep.
They wanted me up and moving a mattress and going outside to do shit and going to the store.
I said I was sick and I didn't want to be out of bed and they bitched at me for being selfish.
Yeah, I'm being selfish because I'm sick as a dog and want to rest.

This is how my family treats me, but if I say anything - they just ignore it or say it's not true.

That's absolutely terrible. How should one get better quickly if one cannot rest?
My partner only gets bitchy when I tell him that I would love to sleep. I know that most things I can get rid of by sleeping... but he ends up waking me up and telling me that I should not sleep that much. Well. That's why with some things I need double the time to heal now :/
