There's one, was a good place. Moved twice
First time the building was too old to maintain so they moved, building was removed and turned into a CVS. This first one was super popular and yummy
Second time they were forcibly shut down because they were busted for tax evasion or something to that effect. Food was still good, but not as good as it was
Their current location is the third, and...the food sucks now

Well it's American version of Mexican, like Chipotle, but I didn't bother with explanation and just went with Mexican lol It's called Chronic Tacos. Chronic wouldn't have been my go-to if Chipotle in downtown (I live in downtown) didn't close >>

I always hate it when places I like close. Like you can find another book store or a food place or even shop for stuff online - but it's not the same.
It's not just the products - it's the experience.
I was going to this one store since I was a kid - and now it's gone forever.
I still fucking miss going there because I had so many good memories of it.

That's a very interesting name 8u

We have this Chinese place down the street that's been in business for a long time.
I'm actually surprised they still exist. I mean it's great.
I don't care for a lot of Asian foods, sadly - unless they're junk food - but my mom and aunt eat there a lot and they say the food is good.
They used to have this amazing tea - I don't know if they still make it.
We asked how they make it and they said it was a secret.
Which is kind of unsettling and funny 8u

I hate seeing places go out of business. It means someone's dream was crushed and it's sad.

OKAY SO THERE WAS TWO STORES BOTH CHAINS
A KRISPY KREME AND A BORDERS
MOM AND I WOULD ALWAYS GO AND GET BOOKS AT BORDERS AND THEN READ THEM AT KRISPY KREME WHEN THEIR HOT AND FRESH SIGN WAS TURNED ON BECAUSE THAT ONE THEY SHOWED THE MAKING PROCESS AND OH MY GOD RIVJWNAKKFOVKGKRJFJKVIR
I'M PRETTY SURE IF BORDERS STAYED OPEN THEY BOTH WOULD STILL BE THERE BECAUSE HEY HOT FRESH DONUTS MIGHT AS WELL GET SOME BOOKS TO OR VICE VERSA
IT WAS ESPECIALLY GREAT WHEN MOM AND I WOULD GET BOOKS AT BORDERS ANYWAY CUZ THE HOT AND FRESH DONUTS SIGN WAS OFF AND THEN GO OUT AND IT WAS ON AND OOPS WE GOT A BUNCHA DONUTS
JUST ONE OF THOSE GOOD LOCATIONS AND BECAUSE RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER THEY BOOSTED EACH OTHER KIND OF DEALS

Cringe indeed. Chronic Tacos wasn't even my 2nd choice, but barely my 3rd because it's cheap :u

Either their dreams got crushed or... they were doing something illegal and finally got caught lol

Like Barnes and Noble
Unfortunately they shut their doors many years ago
