I sprayed this giant wasp nest on our house and killed the wasps.
I can't reach the nest to knock it down, so new wasps are using it now.  23%  [ 7 ]
Clearly the real estate wasp left out the fact those wasps were murdered in that nest.  23%  [ 7 ]
The new wasps should really consider suing the real estate wasp because they about to die too u8  55%  [ 17 ]

I hate spring and summer. All it does is get hot as hell and it brings out annoying insects.
We have a lot of mosquitoes and spiders and fleas and bees and ants and wasps.

I have been stung several times by bees and wasps and I've been bitten by ants a lot. I once even stepped into an ant pile while wearing just sandals.
When I was a kid, I actually got stung by a wasp on the back of my head and that hurt a lot.

The other day, I went to help my aunt wash out her flower vases because she had used rain water and there were baby mosquitoes in it.
She asked me to stand by the hose and turn it on and off for her, so I did.
We finished up and I went back into the house and she called me back out a few minutes later and showed me something scary.
I had been less than a foot away from a big wasp nest.
There was like 8 of them on the nest when my aunt showed me and they definitely could have stung my ass numerous times.
It made me not want to go outside the rest of the day because I was so close to danger and didn't even realize.

I don't hurt bees or spiders as they seem useful, but anything else will feel my wrath >>

Do you have annoying insects to deal with?
Have you ever been stung by wasps or ants?

Hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)

I can taste it in your tears."

Wasps, yes, ants, no.
I also kill wasps when I find them, when possible. So many people get bees and wasps confused, but I find most of them quite different, and paper wasp nests are unmistakable.
I keep bees so I've been stung by them, too, but it's nothing like wasp or hornet stings, so it hardly counts at all.

mosquitoes are the biggest problem where I live. They're just annoying.
Luckily, I'm not one of those people that ALWAYS get stung haha

My husband ran over an underground wasp nest a couple years ago and got stung a few times. We have a lot of mosquitoes here too.

I have a long, unpleasant history with bees and wasps, stemming back to when I accidentally stepped on a fat bumblebee in my bare feet when I was four. Then when I was seven and we'd gone up into the mountains to get a Christmas tree, I very nearly sat on one that had decided my bottom looked comfy and came in for a landing just before I climbed back into my dad's truck. That one got shes away, fortunately.
Then when I was twelve and my little brother was nine, we were exploring down by a creek bed and decided to cross over it on a fallen log. Guess who else decided that log was convenient? An entire hive of yellow jackets. I had to literally pick my brother up and drag him away from there because he just froze in the middle of the swarm and got horribly stung all over.
And then, when I was sixteen, I was sitting in the school library, when I felt a tickle on top of my head. I reached up to feel what was there and got stung ON MY SCALP. I hit whatever it was and also got stung in the palm of my hand. What the what, hornet?!
The intervening decades have not brought many more encounters that ended in stings. But I will not suffer a wasp or hornet to invade my home.

So many bugs. Spiders, ants, mosquitoes, etc.
They all around me to bug me. lol.

I hateses them. I need to find a way to at least curb the mosquito population down a bit around here. There are way too many.

I haven't been stung or bitten by most insects... Just mosquitoes. They're around nearly all year, and they're at their most populous and active worst in the summer and whenever it rains in the spring or fall. My skin reacts badly to the bites and I haven't figured out why. I hate mosquitoes soooo much.... :(
