I'm totally ok with rats, as long as they aren't big, wild rats. I don't like those. But, well, I've meet it like once or twice in my whole life. Fortunately there aren't many in my neighborhood.
As for snakes, I don't like those. Well, if I was absolutely sure it wasn't dangerous for me, I guess I would be ok. I was ok as a child when there was a performance with exotic animals, they needed a spectator to help them with a show, they took me and then put all these snakes on me. But at this time I was sure there is no danger. If I meet a wild snake, I won't be able to say so, because I barely have any knowledge about the snakes. There are barely any where I live.
I'm not afraid of spiders, but the thing is, there aren't any very dangerous spiders where I live. And out of these that live here, I think over 50% don't bite humans (or isn't able to bite, because our skin is too thick). The rest can be unpleasant, but as far as I know there are only 2 or 3 specimens here that can be actually dangerous for humans. But there are few and actually very rare.
Also, I heard that women's fear of spiders actually gets much, much stronger after they give birth, just to help them protect the child. I have no idea if it's true, since I don't have kids
