Heh, Funny story about black clothing, but maybe TMI so spoiler:

Background is that I am almost always wearing long skirts that are brightly colored, because I like bright colors and swishy skirts. It doesn't say anything about my taste because I don't have any, and will wear clashing stuff a lot. But brightly colored.
What people don't see is that I also wear layers -and the trousers underneath the skirts are all black. (I get cold a lot; often there's black longjohns and then black trousers and then a long slip and then a long skirt, but there's always at least black trousers and then the skirt)
So one time after we'd moved, I had a sleepover and one of the new friends spotted the black clothing hanging in the wardrobe...
"Why do you have this set of black clothing, Li-li? Do you have a second life as an assassin and need outfits that won't show blood?"
"Er. I'm not an assassin.... but it is so it won't show blood."
I meant, because my monthlies aren't predictable and it's just easier not to worry about leakages showing.
But their reactions were pretty funny!
