The skirt is not that huge, so it's not that difficult. Only when I go through our bedroom where stuff is lying around :D

The theme of the ball is fairytale castle and it is just the perfect princess dress for me :D

It reminds me of the Beauty and the Beast animated cartoon pictures that someone was showing me recently. (Maybe from a link DC gave?). It looks really splendid! I'm glad it's not hard to walk in, too. I always wondered about that because they look so *bouncy* but of course in shows the goal is always gliding, not bouncing, so how that's managed is really curious!

Yes, it reminds me of Belle's dress too, with that colour scheme :) My bf was joking that he'd have to grow his beard out a lot more to match me ;)

The fabric of the skirt itself is pretty heavy, so I think that prevents any bounciness that the hoop skirt on its own has. Getting the heavy skirt to bounce would require considerable hip movement :D

Make sure to glide down a lot of stairs :D

My fav Disney princess is Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), I've got a couple Disney lolita dresses but also one long gown that I got just cause it makes me feel like Aurora when I'm wearing it haha

I'll definitely do an updo, but not like Belle's. What exactly I do depends on if my tiara arrives in time... If it doesn't, I'll probably pin braids around my head tiara style and decorate them with some pearls. If it does, I'm planning on having braids at the side to cover the ends of it that go back into a braided bun at the back of my head.
