book pages are usually thicker paper, and smaller, than normal origami paper, though, no? Wouldn't that make it very difficult?

Those are lovely photos! Curious that so many use sheet music.

I did origami probably 2 times in my life but one of those was a paper ball

but you need many smaller piece of paper to make it. I'm not sure about other origami figures but I guess small pieces can be useful too. generally though, yea working with larger pieces is easier

but hey, if it's a whole book of worthless pages, you have enough practice material! ;D

I agree, I'd rather meet my friends or spend some time dwelling over university stuff or exercise a bit than read I guess.

Yea, university reading is waaaaay more complex. Also, I don't simply read it, I also have to write things down, understand it, refer to other works etc. Soo yea.

oh it wasn't long! a few hours. once you figure out what to do with one piece, you just do the same folding with the rest. it's just many pieces, but it doesn't really take that much time. putting them together was more tricky because they threaten to fall apart up until you fix them with the final piece. then they hold together. and the thicker the paper, the better

but it might be different for other figures. I'm really not an expert. I just know book pages and paper with text look good in bookstagram pictures XD


I can't belive I'm almost done reading for uni. I really can't believe it

I wanted to make an academic career but approximately till I started writing my bachelor's thesis XD

realistically I'm teaching and will continue that. I'd love to get into the gaming industry but don't really have any valuable skills for that. I also want to do something cool on youtube. but. I don't know how to say it, there are so many things that I want to do but am not ready for. I'll use the first months after my thesis to look around. the only thing that's clear is that, whatever I end up doing, I'll need to learn anew for that. and one more thing that is clear is that it won't be at a university. so. looking at what I want, looking for what's needed for that, and looking for where to get it. a lot of looking around
