Uhh depends how much of it needs charging but as it is I may just go play it later, it's only 8pm.
Hell it's probably charged now. It takes like..3 and half hours.

so it charges up for three and a half hours, and then how long can you play on it before you have to charge it again?

Depends on the game you play and if you play in handheld mode or not.
In tv mode it charges through the dock but the joycons, would eventually need charging after about 20 hours according to google.

yeahhh, I'm just going to stay confused. I always figured, something is on or off, so it uses electricity or not, and then here you are introducing NUANCE to it. It can use more or less? Depending on what you do with it? I guess that makes sense.
It's just also more complicated. >.<
Well, either way I have to go at this point, so I hope it is charged enough for you to have fun with and not get bored!

It's got like a battery, I assume lithium.
The switch is unique.... it's home and handheld console in one.
It is charged, it was charged a few hours ago lol
