Yeah, and I have three of the lava lamps that I cycle around my lowest levels and new knuffels too. I can't imagine how long it would take without them xD

They provide an amount of XP to the knuffel every hour. It is super useful, especially at the early stages as they can level from nought to 30 in, like, a day or two.
At higher levels you notice the effect less, as it is a fixed exp amount.
They do cost one fairy coin each, though, which is an understandable price because they are such a powerful item, haha.
