Julia pulled off the paper and carefully opened the box, letting out a soft gasp of surprise,"Oh my goodness..." She said softly, seeing the beautiful necklace,"Its absolutely beautiful." She looked over at him, as if unsure what she did to deserve such a beautiful necklace.

Caelum's cheeks flushed red when she told him that the necklace was beautiful. "Let me put that on you." He offered before taking the necklace from her hands and walked to stand behind her. He hung the necklace around her neck and shut the clamp before returning to his seat to admire her. Not just the necklace, but her, and how the hints of green in the necklace brought out the magical color of her eyes.

"You look beautiful." He spoke without reserve, only noticing what he said after. "I- I mean, you look beautiful everyday! Just that you're more beautiful now. Wait, no. That came out wrong. I mean. You don't need the necklace to be beautiful. It's just that the necklace and your eyes are the same! Wait- not that they look like stones, I mean ... uhh." Caelum gave up halfway into trying to explain, the red on his cheeks reaching up to his ears as he buried his face into his palms.

Julia blushed too, thanking him many times. When he tried to speak, she gent went over and hugged him gently,"Caelum, Its alright." She said softly,"I know what you mean. I love my gift very much..." She took a deep breath,"And I love you too..." She added softly

Caelum's heart stopped beating when the words escaped Julai's mouth. And then it proceeded to beat so fast that it felt like it was threatening to leap out of his chest if he didn't do anything to stop it. "You ..." he started, doubting at first if her words were true, but the rest of his question was caught in his mouth. He stuttered, the red on his cheeks and ears darkening, and he swore the blood went into his burning ears instead of his brain.

"I ..." he started once again, trying to process things. And then he gave in, no longer trying to deny the fact that she had indeed confessed to him just then. He looked into her eyes. Expectant, nervous, and ... scared?

He sighed and with a soft smile, he took Julia's hands in his. Were her hands this small before? He didn't exactly notice. But now, he found many things to notice. The way the fires near the hearth made it look like her hair was on fire, a fire that elegantly made its way down her curls. The way her eyelashes perfectly framed her round eyes. And those eyes ... even without the necklace, they would shine just as brightly. He realized just how often he would drown in those Avada colored eyes.

"Miss Potter," he finally spoke once again, now in a tone more confident than before. "Never would have I expected that any of these would happen once I stepped onto the platform months ago. You've done so many things for me that I don't even deserve. Without you, I'd probably be sulking alone in the cold of the Slytherin dormitory right now. I'm no good with expressing my feelings, you know that. But I want you to know that you are what I see when I think about the future. My life has turned around and I find myself looking forward to the next day. And that's all because of you."

Julia couldn't help but breathe a soft sigh of relief," That's so wonderful to know," She said softly," Because I had wanted to say something for so long...but I was unsure if you has felt the same. I was worried I was misreading things, that I was misunderstanding our friendship and that's all it was suppose to be was friendship."

She paused for a bit to collect her thoughts. She leaned over and kissed his cheek gently, "I do care a lot about you, Caelum." She said gently,"I want nothing more than just to spend time with you when we can. I always look forward to it."

She looked up at him, blushing lightly,"I never really thought you would ever like me that much. Or ever in that way. Besides, you could have any girl you want. It just surprises me that it's me.''

Caelum smiled as he listened to her and glowed when she kissed him. "Then from.now on, let's spend our time together. I won't stop the pranks though." he grinned, "but I'll make sure that no one gets hurt. Not anymore." He placed a soft kiss on her forehead before pulling away. He raised an eyebrow when she talked about choosing her from all the girls. "Any girl I want? If you didn't notice, dear Julia, but they are quite fond of disappearing wherever I appear. Those that do not get the chance to disappear give me odd looks as their faces shrivel up and twitch."

Julia blinked and nodded, "I wouldn't expect you to stop the pranks." She said with a smile, "And when it came to girls, there were some that stuck around when you where there. Most of them I think were Slytherin but either way..." She smiled,"We'll have to act less lovey dovey when Frank and As an are back. Frank already knew I liked you. Aren might know by now too actually." Her smile fell,"What if we can't get our parents to make up?" She asked, looking worried now. She knew her parents would accept she loved Caelum. She just wasn't sure if his would accept them as easily.

"We'll find a way." Caelum answered with confidence in his voice. "The first step would be to plan a reunion from our mothers. And then maybe they could do the rest for us?"

He then noticed that the dinner the house elves were preparing were being brought to the table and knew that the professors would call for dinner soon. "Let me just bring these to the dungeons and I'll meet up with you at the Great Hall for dinner?" He asked as he stood up to place the gifts back into the box. He then took out the shrunken gifts he received from the others out of his pocket to check if he missed any and then shoved them back in. Just as he was about to leave for the dungeons, he looked to Julia with a smirk, a sense of excitement budding in the atmosphere around him. "Unless you want to come with? No non-Slytherin has ever been in the dungeons since Harry Potter." His smirk grew even more. "We were warned not to bring any outsiders in, but where's the fun in that? You get to see what other non-Slytherins haven't seen before and I get to spite those pompous gits. What do you say?"

Julia nodded, hoping that they could get their mothers to be friends again. She hoped that things would be alright.

When he mentioned her joining him, she looked worried,"If I knew there wouldn't be trouble..." She murmured,"But I don't wanna risk it with it being our final year here..." She did want to spend time with him but she was worried about entering the Slytherin common room.

Caelum chuckled as a sly grin formed on his face. "Nothing a disillusionment charm can't fix. The only Slytherins left inside the castle are two first years anyway. If they're in the dungeons, they wouldn't notice you there with the charm on. But if for some miraculous reason they did, they wouldn't think it odd for you to be there due to the fact that you aren't a snake because we aren't in our uniforms. Professor Prince's quarters aren't even near the dungeons so no harm done there. And as for the paintings ... we'll just have to rely on the charm. The Slytherins were the ones to come up with the rule anyway, not the headmaster." The door/painting moved to show the exit to the kitchen: the corridor they entered from.
