I generally do the same thing, honestly. But for me it's a little anxiety-inducing.

May those who love us love us And those who don't love us May God turn their hearts, And if He doesn't turn their hearts, May He turn their ankles, So we'll know them by their limping.

But there is a big timer right underneath the Doughnight Calendar that tells you what date it is according to server time so that you always know which window you can be opened today?

Yes, but for a lot of us the server date is different from the date it actually is for us, which makes it a bit confusing. Like for me, the server date is always close to a day ahead of me, so if it says 22 for me it's still 21 and because I have trouble remembering what I've opened and what I haven't, let alone what date it is, it becomes a little cluttered.

Yes, I know thats erver time is different from your local time, that's why we put the server time out there, which is the same for everyone. So you can always see which window you can open today, no matter what date it is for you.

If it is the 22nd server time you can open the 22nd window, if it is the 23rd server time, you can open the 23rd window and so on. It's really not hard or complicated. And if you cannot remember whether you opened a window yesterday, all you need to do is to click on the window from the day before to double check.

I really don't understand where there is any problem here.
I checked another avatar site that has a advent calendar yesterday and there too you open the windows according to server time- But unlike us they don't show you what the actual server time is and you can always only open a window on the exact day and no windows from the previous day. And still people seem to manage somehow. I feel like we did everything we could to make this easy to handle.

I don't even understand why people find it confusing, hard or even stressfull to collect a free item once a day. Come on people, ALL you need to do is click on a button icon once a day and that's still not good enough? I understand that it is hard to please everyone at the same time, but I feel like this is getting ridiculous. :mcsad: It's FREE items.
We put so much work, time and effort into drawing and coding this for you and we don't get anything from it at all - No one pays us and since this event doesn't require anything but clicking a button, the site is practically dead. From our perspective this is just a huge waste of time. The only thing we expected from this was to make users happy - Yeah, free items every day! But somehow that doesn't even seem to work? When I look through this thread I don't see any "Yeah, so many free items, that's great" or "I like these items" or "It's so great that we get free items and don't have to spend any time on this". But what I read instead is "It's too stressfull to collect a free item once a day", "I don't like that we are getting so many free room items!".

Try to see it from my perspective - How would you feel? It's a bit like you are giving christmas presents to your family, but you are not getting any in return and they complain that the presents they got from you are not what they wanted and that you used the wrong wrapping paper. I bet it would make you sad and feel very unappreciated. :mcsad: (Doesn't help that I actually sent christmas presents and cards to my friends last week and haven't even gotten a "thank you" or "Happy Cristmas to you to" in return.)

( I am sorry for the depressing post. I am just really sad that this site is close to dying and no matter how hard I try and what I try, it's not good enough and I feel like a failure and nothing I do is good enough.)

@Firn

You can chalk it up to my mild OCD and general ditziness when I talk about clicking multiple windows. It's not a complaint on my end; I don't mind doing it.

I've made a comment on my preference of items, but I'm not ungrateful, just a person with opinions. All in all, I'm perfectly happy with the event items, and I'm sure many users are as well.

I'm sorry you've been feeling sad and unappreciated, though. *hugs* I really do enjoy/appreciate this site, which is why I keep coming back to it and have been staying active these past few months. I also try to make a comment in the announcements for this reason, though with Doughnight, I didn't do so as much because I didn't know what items we were getting originally.

I hope you know that you are appreciated, but I know that negative comments and criticisms (even concrit) tend to make a more impression than positive comments.

I apologize, I didn't mean to sound ungrateful. I've been a member of this site for a long time and I do appreciate your work very much. I've even done what I can to bring new members around, but unfortunately I don't know many people, and the only other forum I visit is also slowly dying. My confusion can pretty much be chalked up to a mental disability, so it's my own problem. I'm sorry for complaining.

lol I'm pretty happy with the bikini top, it's cute. Still could kick myself for missing the eyes, though.
