Apps are far too sophisticated for him.

He has a very basic phone, and even that confuses him.

Uhh...

...um...

...guess I should do that soonish.

I have this problem where all my family members/people I know are pretty well off financially and pretty much always buy themselves whatever they want, so I never know what to get them. So I usually go with knitting, only I haven't been keeping up with it this year.

They generally feel bad if I buy them something instead of making them something because they know I pretty much scrape by. And then they feel weirdly obligated to get me something worth more than what I got them to "balance it out" or something.

So I go with scarves mostly, and though they never really wear them, I guess the thought's there. I've done papercraft and sewing stuff in the past but they seem even more bewildered about what to do with that.

I don't usually do much for christmas. But I did sign up for reddit secret santa this year. I already bought my person some stuff, and he already got most of it. I started a plant to give to my father's girlfriend, and I gave her another that I started when I went over for Thanksgiving. And I bought my mother some fudge.

I will love you if I never see you again, and I will love you if I never see you again, and I will love you if I see you every Tuesday. I will love you as the starfish loves a coral reef and as kudzu loves trees, even if the oceans turn to sawdust and the trees fall in the forest without anyone around to hear them. I will love you as the pesto loves the fettuccini and ats the horseradish loves the miyagi, and the pepperoni loves the pizza.

I really do not like Christmas time. It seems oblied times to be happy. And happiness comes only for shopping and shopping.

Oddly the holidays is one of the few times out of the year where I don't feel overwhelmed by people trying to make me be happy/cheerful. It seems like the people around me at least understand why the holidays might be depressing. It's the being depressed the rest of the year that seems to get me in trouble. :mcsmirk:

I'm not really a Christmas gifts kind of person so the only gifts I'm getting are for kris kringle of which I bought 1 facial cleanser, 2 lip sticks (a wine bottle shaped one and the tints with gorgeous encased in them) and a light grey faux suede cap for the summer :3 I have fashion and make up conscious friends so someone would enjoy this package.

Bf and I aren't even exchanging gifts. I rather just get things myself anyway. Same with him, we're both relieved that we agree. I do enjoy wrapping things though.

The wouldn't you mind wrapping mine? Because while I love shopping for gifts, I hate wrapping them.

I'm more or less done with my shopping, I only need one last thing for my mother and I'll be done.
