I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping, and I was wondering if anyone else has also already started on theirs. Tell me about some thing you guys have bought or made to give away!

Also, have you guys bought anything for yourselves while shopping?

Socks
Lots of socks
Yoshi for my niece
Teddy bear for my nephew
And a few other things

About 90% of my "shopping" is mom bringing stuff into my room and going "here it's for xyz"

I only have one IRL person to buy for and I always get him the same thing - a Tim's gift card.

Mosta my friends are online and I tend to get them stuff from within the sites I know them from, usually with site currency the equivalent of FC here.

I might've gone a bit overboard for Christmas this year.

For my friends: two sets of bowties and suspenders, two animal-Christmas-themed planters, a gift set of coffee, three gift cards, a beanie, gourmet candy, a DVD set, booster packs for a card game, cookie sheets, a Pop figure.

For my family: a children's book with toys, a necklace, a new phone (we're all chipping in), a corkboard with pushpins, a steam game (chipping in), two neck cushions, a Tsum-Tsum, socks, a mug set. And I'm giving out red envelopes.

For folks from church: a cookie sheet, a fitbit, a mug set, plushies and stickers for kids, a seasonal gift box, a chocolate themed set. And I'm making candy sleighs.

For folks from work: chocolates, a gift card. And I'm making candy sleighs.

I have bought stuff for myself as well along the way, aha. I bought a fantastic bear plush (made of this material I've been looking for ever since I first encountered it in Japan), a neck plush, a cello guitar magnet, and I refilled my Starbucks card.

After a thousand years of listening to the bible on tape, my grandfather decided he wants them on CD. So I bought him a set that has a buttload of discs.

I bought my sister a purse, and I hope to get her something else.
I'm surprised I have that much done.
I'm a later starter.
:qhehe:

I did buy a pair of headphones for myself on Amazon. But i've been saving for those ever since my last pair broke.

I don't have many friends I see in person since most of them I met in college away from my hometown (where I will be this holiday season), so I'm thinking about sending handmade Christmas cards in the mail for them...I like drawing so I was going to use those talents in some way! At this point I'm not sure if I should draw separate pictures for each person or just make one design and just write messages in each...probably the latter though since I don't think I have enough time to do a drawing for each and every person hehe.

For my family though I still need to think about what to get them! I too am a later starter haha, though some of the stuff I was thinking about would be coming from online stores, so I should probably hurry up so they arrive in time!

@FL:

Aha, if only he knew about the phone app.

@Vivacity:

Nice! My friend sends one of her out-of-state friends a care package every year for Christmas. Apparently, they don't have as much Asian stuff where she is.

Oh man that sounds like a great idea, care packages. I might have to steal that idea! :mccute:

Aha, feel free!

I also bought more gifts the other day (and then got more stuff for myself).

My brother is getting a lamp.

As for stuff I bought for me, I got slippers, a poster, and two DVDs.

My brother also gave me his Starbucks card, since he doesn't really drink coffee.
