I'm mostly concerned with the level of discomfort for beauty ^^; I'm glad that I don't have that sort of societal pressure and that I'm fairly content with my features. The double eyelid stuff doesn't seem too bad. They cut your eyelid then restitch but I've had scalpels on make incisions in my cornea so knives and eyes don't bother too much anymore.

You had the surgery, or something else? o_o

I finally made another order, haha. I got that galactomyces essence, BHA (really hope it works) and the snail mucin essence, all cosrx.

Oh no no, I am gifted with the double eye lids so I'm good.

I actually like the galactomyces more than I like the snail mucin. Snail mucin isn't doing much for my skin and the BHA is too harsh. I guess my skin is too thin for any type of exfoliant chemical or not.

AYYY. I was trying to find this.

I am gifted as well, but that's sort of a given, I think? I'm white af.

I've been using the galactomyces and I feel like my skin tone has become less red. I've also been using Klairs Vitamin Drop (it's got vitamin C and some other stuff), but not long enough to tell if it's doing anything.
The only thing I don't like with the mucin is the gross film. My skin feels greasy after. I only use it at night :s

A friend of mine bought that Mizon Apple Peeling .. thingamajig... it was nice. I'm normally not a fan of physical exfoliants but it was gentle (and smelled really good, haha).

The BHA goddamn destroyed my skin the first time (red, super dry) but I have been doing it once a week, and it seems to have adjusted. I'm desperate to get rid of the dark filaments on my nose (I'm pretty sure they're sebaceous filaments because they're not disgustingly huge and protruding, just dark) and the closed comedones on my chin :'(

Have you tried anything new lately?

I'm just a lucky asian who happened to roll the gene lottery.

I find the vitamin C doesn't do much for my skin either. I haven't seen a difference. The mucin isn't greasy on my skin. Make sure you pat and press it into your skin after the toner. It could be that my skin is so dry that it tends to soak up everything so I'm not that greasy. The texture from the bottle is really unappealing lol I do much prefer the galactomyces. Glad you found it helpful!

The BHA should be doing the same thing as that mizon peel your friend has. I'm pretty sure BHA/AHA are also chemical exfoliates. Dark filaments? Maybe they are sebaceous glands. I usually massage my nose with a warm cloth and I've never had an issue with the nose area because of that. On occasion I have a black head which I just extract myself.

I haven't bought anything new in regards to skincare but I do have an update on the items I had purchased previously. I bought a backup of the galactomyces and my favourite water based cleanser, the cosrx low ph one. I've repurchased the cosrx one step pimple clear pads like 4 times. I love them so much and they're so easy to use in the morning to clean my face before I do my morning routine. The toner (https://www.yesstyle.com/en/pyunkang-yu ... 1060395494) which I initially disliked I now use on a regular basis but only 2 drops on my hand then I pat it in. I haven't noticed a difference yet but I'll keep you updated. Maybe it helps with the absorption of the mucin because I don't have the greasy issue. The haemish balm I will not repurchase again. It can't remove makeup for shiz *grumble but I'll finish it anyway. I should finish with my cleansers as I have 4 different ones opened atm. Lol. I have oil for my eyes, haemish balm for the rest of the face, water cleanser for afterwards and manuka honey one in the shower.

I really want to try microblading for all that cell turnover jazz. Also do you shave your face? I recently noticed yesstyle sells those facial blades. I wear makeup and I have tiny fuzzies on my cheeks which looks so bizarre in particular angles but I'm scared to use a blade on my cheeks.

I also bought some makeup and clothes which haven't arrived.

I agree about the mucin texture! It's what I expected given what it is, but it still grosses me out.
The galactomyces texture is a little odd to me, as well. Reminds me of .. things.

I have heard of microblading and have a few friends that have done it, but I don't know much, tbh. For example, I had no idea it promoted cell turnover. Now I am googling the heck out of this. I'm assuming it's just for the skin under your eyebrows, though? Which tbh, I am not very concerned about. I do like the idea of fuller eyebrows, though. I have one particular area that could use filling in. I hear the process is near a grand, however... I don't know if that's worth it.

I do not shave my face, no. I've never even considered it. o_o I would be afraid to do it, too. I'm going to go examine my own face fuzzies, now...

What clothing did you order? I recently got some sweaters in and ordered two more shirts from yesstyle. It's always a gamble, haha.

I got this one and this one. They're all right. Definitely cheaper quality than how they present them, however I was expecting that, and am not upset. The almond one is pretty cute. I wear it a lot, and got my mom one, lol.

I ordered this and this ... we shall see. I think the sweater has a 50/50 chance of being nice, but the shirt should be acceptable? Unless it's a weird cut. They're both heckin' cheap so I'm really not super worried.

Sorry, I was thinking of the wrong word. I mean microdermabrasion. I don't have any eye brows to micro blade lol.

It really is a gamble especially if you're going for an item with zero or few reviews. It's long past sweater season for us, maybe you'll like this item. It's thicker than you'll expect and it's nice, soft and stretchy. I bought that in black and I love it although it's summer now.

It looks like it might end up being one of those super thin, t-shirt material sweaters.

This time around I ordered these items: khaki bell sleeve top/blouse, newsboy cap in black, trying a new concealer, an eye primer, whitening cream for my eczema scarring and hyperpigmentation on my elbows and neck, a bun maker for my long ass hair also I needed to reach the minimum for a discount (worked out cheaper lol) and hair growth serum?.

I bought these ripped jeans and they're cute but holy heck they smelt like toxic waste for months even after many washes. I can't recommend buying any sort of denim-like clothing.

Oooo! I just got that Saem concealer but I haven't tried it yet.
Let me know how you like the eye primer, though. I am .. highly interested..

I might buy that bun thing, hahaha. I need something like that.

That turtleneck is neat. It's like, not really a turtleneck.. but it is... I like it. I guess that's why it's called a mock-turtleneck, lmao.
It's cold af here so I need sweaters ^_^

And yeah oh god, every article of clothing I get from yesstyle smells horrible. I'll remember not to get denim in particular. My sweaters smell better now, but damn. I almost wanted to throw them out.

I've heard mixed things about microdermabrasion. That it ends up doing more harm than good, or that it's amazing. Although it sounds really mild compared to dermabrasion, which might be what I'm thinking of as far as reviews go.

Was the concealer a lot smaller than you expected? It came and it's tiny ovo; I suppose it was cheap but damn, so small. I'll keep you posted on the primer.

The bun thing is okay. I only bought it so I could read the minimum for a 25% discount ovo; It worked out cheaper to buy with the hair bun thing than without wahaha. I probably should've gotten the larger one and it's really hard to wrap my silky hair 'orz It keeps slipping and I suck at making the bun look cute.

Not every article of clothing smells bad. Just the denim. The shirt that came today smelt like nothing.

Oh! I haven't heard that. I might look into it more. I wonder if I could do microdermabrasion for my legs but I have the issue where my skin cells turn too quickly and the top layer doesn't come off so I'm ashy 8U The only way to remove it is if I use razors on my legs.

YES. It is so small. I was a little disappointed but it was only $5.

I'm really ashy, too. I want to find an exfoliant that's relatively cheap so I can use it on my whole body.
The driest area for me is my underwear line, tbh. I don't wear tight fitting pants anymore but apparently my high school years just ruined that area.
