There's a church near me that usually has witty and humorous sayings on their board in the front.
The one they have now says something about how Adam and Eve were the first people to ever not read the apple instructions.
Like Apple - the company.
I really want to go there and ask who does the signs because they make me laugh and I enjoy seeing them.

I also remember seeing this guy standing on a corner with a sign.
I assumed he was just saying "Will work for food" or to donate because he's on hard times.
No. His sign said "Too ugly to be a prostitute".
I found that so funny and I wanted to give him some money just for making me laugh.
I don't know if he was legit on hard times, but I like people that can joke through horrible times.
Because that's how I roll.

I see a lot of women say they want a partner that has a sense of humor.
And I think some people say "YEAH RIGHT".
But I love people who make me laugh and I love making them laugh.
My bestie in school was always making me laugh and my dad and his side of the family always make me laugh.

I prefer to be around people like that.
I don't like uptight people.

Do you have anyone that makes you laugh?
What would your sign say if you were asking for money or food?

A world of fragile things
Look for me in the white forest
Hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)
I know you hear me,
I can taste it in your tears."

I think you should go and ask about the signs at church if you like them; I'm sure it'll make the person's day to know that someone outside from the church community is also enjoying it.

I would've given that dude money too --or at least, some food? My brother and I tend to not give out money because, y'know, drugs. But my brother does buy food for homeless people he sees sometimes. I think it's important to do what we can for the community, or for people who need it, y'know?

Uhh, as for people who make me laugh, I always think about Ocean. She's incredible and so well-put together and mature, but at the same time, she's not above joking me and having a good time. We don't always share the same taste in humor, but it overlaps often enough that we can swap jokes.

I also have a friend who is frickin' salty af, and he and I love swapping jokes and puns and exchanging dry wit. Just last Sunday when someone came from out of town, he was bragging about us, and I'll have to admit that I felt pretty proud, even though our personalities can be pretty awful. (We aren't terrible people but our humor is pretty Sahara Desert dry.)

Other than that, I enjoy laughter in general, and I laugh a lot at my own humor? I tend to write in a way that reflects that, and sometimes I have inside jokes with myself? I don't know how weird that is, but hey; no one's gonna appreciate your humor more than you do!

I can't imagine myself even making a sign like that. I feel like I'd rather not ask, but even if I needed something, I have a pretty strong support system in my family. We always help each other out, and I've been told and shown by multiple family members that they have my back.

It's kinda depressing when I reflect that not everyone has that, but knowing that I'm one of the fortunate ones makes me want to help others even more.

Your topic title reminded me of a Jack Handey:

"Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis."

Mika: I really should. Like 90% of the time, it's something witty.
It's made me laugh a few times out loud, which scares me aunt because she's driving xD

Drugs, liquor. I haven't seen him again, though.
I hope he's doing okay.

They say opposites attract.
I've noticed it's been true in my lifetime. For me xD;

I feel bad when I laugh at my own jokes.
Especially when no one else laughs 8,u

It is good to be fortunate. I try to donate when I can.
Even if it's a little bit, it can help.

Pfft, if something can make you laugh out loud, I'd say it deserves some points.

I don't know if "opposites attract" would apply to me, necessarily. Rather, I tend to like people who are moderately humble, kind, and intelligent; folks who have similar morals to mine and qualities I admire, in short. I mean, it certainly applies to Ocean, since some days she'll say a thing, and I'll practically swoon with how awesome she is.

Thinking about it, I've never heard anyone say that they don't like funny people though, right? I mean, maybe they might not like a certain type of humor, but everyone likes someone who's funny in some way.

*paps* Well, someone's gotta laugh at your jokes. I still feel embarrassed, laughing at myself, but I'm not gonna stop doing it. XD
