Thanks :3 Same, I went to Thailand when I was 8 and Singapore, Vietnam when I was 16 but this was all with family to visit family (my parents are from Vietnam).
I was a big fan of everything as well. What was your favourite food/place? I think I loved everything to be honest. We ate out three times a day, multiply that by 2.5 weeks. Hahaha (except the days I was sick). One of my favs was pretty simple from a shop in Hakone
cold soba. I follow Simon and Martina on youtube and so did our third person (and I forced bf to watch their stuff too hehe). We hit up a lot of spots in their videos. Example,

this wagashi store in kichijoji. Saitamaya was really fun, was intimidating at first cause they can turn you away if you don't speak any japanese but we had a conversation with the dude in the video and he's so nice and friendly *gush*. Told us about his plans to go to Brisbane, also the son made my alcoholic way too strong that my bf had to take it away from me cause I was getting pretty drunk.
That sounds pretty cute. Japan short videos are adorable. I can't help but think of gudetama. lol
My results did come back clear. Nothing wrong with my thyroid and the lumps in my neck are of normal size however, still rather inconclusive because I have 6 really swollen, almost protruding lymph nodes from my neck and behind my right ear. I got a full health check, took a lot of blood from me :3 We'll see what comes back. Given my mother had a unsuspected autoimmune disease pop up early this year, he's probably concerned I might have something hidden too. *sigh

Good on your mum o: It's so hard to get the motivation to lose weight as an adult. I'm glad she's not quitting. My mum had to stop exercising after her key hole surgery. I think she still gets phantom pain in her incision :c I hope she feels happier soon although she's so heartbroken about my neck lumps. More so than me 'orz poor mummy

I don't think you should eat protein bars unless you're planning to a) gain weight, 2) you work out and need extra protein for muscle repair and sik gains
