It would be great to have a solution for dyslexia. From what I hear, it's rather debilitating and offers no benefits. People seek treatment for ADD and autism, why is it offensive to suggest the same for dyslexia?

I guess there are people who "identify as disabled" and want to become disabled to fulfill their delusion, so, you know. The world we live in.

I see. I still feel bad about it, though. Someone said that they saw my thread and told me that the site is a little toxic as well.

That's just delusional. This site is sooo PC. I'm scared to say a swear word. People are very, very nice here. I've never been on another avatar/forum site like this. I'm used to vulgarity and bullying, not like, "how was your day?"

Idk. Whomever said that has obviously not ventured far on the internet. One look at Gaia will show them all they'll ever need to know.

and as for the "cure" thing... not all people view things like Dyslexia or Autism as things that should be cured. I mean, I get it that they can make learning difficult at best, or almost impossible at worst, but I say that as someone who was misdiagnosed with ADHD when in reality, I'm Autistic.

I had joined a site once and I made a thread.
Several people posted in it, so I was making a reply to everyone in one post.
Naturally it took me a while to type everything.
Well, someone posted about how I was blatantly ignoring them then posted

You know, that one thing made me leave that site.
To be so rude to a new member, is a shitty thing to do.

My friend also invited me to one site that you needed a code to join.
This one person followed me to every thread I posted in and talked down to me and treated me like I was stupid and they were smart.
That also made me leave xD

Someone on gaia kept calling me gay just because my avi was blue, and that made me not want to go to the forums often. I have posted more recently on gaia, though. Of course, I post in the "Heaven" subforum.
