Definitely sounds like a mental thing Poshi. If you aren't "ready" to start it can be very painful, could be a medical thing too. I know that feeling you're talking of and I'm sure for me it comes when something turns me off (which can easily be that first little bit of discomfort, so it's really hard to get out of that).

All this discussion reminded me of a site, https://www.omgyes.com/. It's paid content mostly but definitely worth it if you need help and there is a free preview.

Also remember that again, everyone is different. I personally don't orgasm during sex so my partner always uses his fingers first to get me there before we have sex. That actually makes the sex more pleasant for me too because I'm already swimming in the clouds and everything is nice and smooth, as opposed to doing it the other way round.

So many things make me uncomfortable though. I am a giant ball of physical discomfort because of my sensitive, thin skin which breaks easily. I mean it could also be the fact that I'm a really small person and he's not. I've never dated someone so much taller and heavier than me and sometimes our limbs just flail about and his torso is too long and the angle is all wrong. I mean I've googled all sorts of things like 'position for partner with large height disparity' and nothing helpful comes up.

I'm not even sure if it's because I'm not ready tbh. I think I'm ready at least and I often don't force it because it's an even bigger world of pain.

Oh, I might try that because fingers are definitely more pleasant. I wouldn't mind being all dazed and cloudy before him hehe. It might help with the pain. Oh and also sometimes it feels like I need to pee during sex .-. Idk if that's normal, like if I actually need to pee, is someone pressing on my bladder or if it's something else.

I used to get that need-to-pee thing, weirdly I don't anymore. Don't think we do anything differently so that's an odd one that I can't explain.

Isn't it just so stupid that there isn't a lot of research into this already? I mean, you would think you would at least be able to Google something that 99% of humans in the history of humanity have gone through :mcmeh: I mean sure there's plenty of research for men, but not much for women.

Have you seen your gp about it Poshi? it could be a uterus thing? I heard having endo can make sex painful.

I used to have somewhat painful sex but now I live with him it's not so bad even if we just have sex once a week.

I'm terrible at taking up the initiative cause I don't know how..

Tried other positions? you being on top? I found that works...... also more likely to orgasm then.

The need to pee feeling without having to pee, say you peed right before can be the sign of squirting orgasm I think.

I feel the need to pee too, even if I've peed right before, but I generally pee every hour and sometimes it takes me like half an hour or more to get there so I didn't used to be sure whether it's squirting or peeing. I wish the squirt looked different from pee so we'd know :mcsweat:

I (think I) began squirting the last few days, because my lips swell outwards and sometimes a bit comes out without the feeling of peeing, before the rest follows and feels (and looks confusingly) like pee. It might be squirting followed by peeing. I'm sorry if this talk is ewwing anyone out... but I just AGREE SO HARD THAT THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE RESEARCH FOR US. Seriously.

I thought it might be endo too but I don't have any other symptoms. I mean, I get my period like once every 2 - 3 months but I don't have excruciating pain. I've talked to my gp and they were like 'idk git the pill?'

Maybe it would hurt less if we have sex more frequently. Currently it's about once a month because we much rather go on an adventure than stay at home whenever we're free to meet.

I've tried being on top but I get really bad foot cramps in that position hahaha.

The problem is when I pee the moment I've the urge to, it looks clear too. So though my maybe-squirt looks clear it's still a maybe :mcsweat:

Maybe you can try to increase the foreplay? Explore to see what turns you on and do plenty of fingering or oral beforehand. Of course this is old advice.

best way to find out is laparoscopic look. Then if you have it they can do surgery to get rid of as much of it as possible. maybe talk to a gyno?

ah yeah if it's once a month it starts to get more painful.. I find sex often helps prepare me for papsmears too.

I get leg cramps sometimes xD but I tend to once uh it's not so painful ask to be on bottom... so it works out

Sometimes it's uncomfortable when he uh thrusts too deep.. and hits the cervix too hard. :mcblush:
