His entire program is filled with people like that. One of the higher-ups told the biggest lie about him saying he showed up to an interview 30 minutes late when in reality he was sick and still showed up on time. The issue is I'm having second thoughts about the chick who I thought was helping us. She is the coordinator of residence life and he wants a position in that field. He didn't get one because he came to the university at an odd part of the year so he began to speak with her to see if there was any advice she had. His current office treated him like shit so he was thinking of going into the grad pool again and try to get a new job. The only issue is he isn't guaranteed a job. She decided to take it upon herself and placed him in the grad pool and then when he didn't get hired, refused to talk to him until he forced her secretary to schedule a meeting for him. In their meeting she said he disappointed her because according to someone he was 30 minutes late and was bad mouthing the position to new potential grads. Then she refused to help. What strikes me as odd is 1. Why put him in the pool without his permission and then tell him later, 2. why have this sudden change in opinion of him, and 3. why did she not confirm any of the lies before having her meltdown and baring him from getting hired?
Something about her isn't adding up. I think she wanted to remove us fro the start but couldn't do it if he still had a spot in his current office.

They fired him. Everything makes sense now. The housing bitch, his boss, and the bitch who supposedly lied about him being late are all in on it. They apparently did this to the last guy in his position. They basically hire a guy for manual labor and such and then fire him once the manual labor and most of the hard job requirements are over. Oh well.
But anyways on with happier stuff. I hope everyone had a nice Earth Day/Revolting for Science Day.

Ehh. I'm managing. I have to give up my career goals for a bit and leave new friends as well as a potential project, but at least my mom is letting us live with her. She needs some help with the house and bills anyways. I contacted my old job and they are willing to take me back so its not like I will be homeless.

Its ok. Things are starting to get better.
