What sort of tricks do you mean? What kind of trouble are you having?

I mean no matter how hard I try I can't find the fragments at least not all of them. Is there a trick to finding them? Like you have to post first to find more or look something like that?

Where are you looking, Finx? Here's a list of locations where you might find the key fragments Firn posted 3 years ago. It's missing some locations we didn't have 3 years ago, but it should help you figure out where to look. Is that where you're looking?

The scavenger type of events are my favourite because it's so low commitment. In my opinion, it's the easiest type of event. I mean, for me personally, digging would be the easiest since I've got a horde of lv. 100 Knuffel with apples and cupcakes but not everyone has that. I don't post all that much and I find pop-ups very boring. I think scavenger events are only difficult if you don't know where to look or have slow internet connection... but if you have poor internet connection any event is going to be difficult.

For this event I just come in at x:55 and hunt for fragments then hunt for fragments again after the hour changes and tada! In 10 minutes I've got enough for today's key. Then I might go post around or get off the computer and do stuff that needs doing around the house and maybe I'll come back several hours later at y:55 for another 10 minutes and get enough for another key. I have 13 keys right now, enough to open all the windows another time over after opening all 11 windows that are unlocked, and I actually gave half of my keys (albeit I only had 6 keys at the time) 3 days ago to a newbie. I could have 16 keys right now if I hadn't done that. It really doesn't have to be hard if you know what you're doing. And I'm enjoying this event very much.

I don't know what "since two" means in your local time, so how long that has been hour-wise when you made that post, but just making sure - you are aware that you can only find 4 fragements in an hour, right?

Finx, Ziaheart's way is awesome, I happen to do it myself too. I only collect more keys because my job allows me to do it. And what Firn said, there are only 4 key fragments each hour, so there's no way to find "more" as you put it.

Because I've seen so many variants of the list of places where you can find the fragments, I'll just say this: Click every link in the main tab. It's safer this way, and really doesn't take as long as it seems. It's good to form a pattern. For example, I start with the Main page (click on the big KofK sign above the main tab), then I click everything in Help section, then in My Account section, Games section and so on. I'd finish with the Disclaimer, but I never found anything there, maybe it's IP thing. Some pages don't give me anything at all, so when I learned this with time, I just skip those pages, so it makes everything even quicker. I end up finding all 4 fragments most of the time.

It happened to me a few times, that I couldn't find the 4th one, so I went to my Bookmarks or Subscription pages and clicked a random thread. If you scroll up and down the topic, you may be able to find the tricky 4th fragment.

That's all the "tricks" I know and recommend :qt:

Edit: And of course go through all the Shops. And you might want to check the Art Gallery sub-pages too, though this one never worked for me personally :qhehe:

Thank you so much for changing the daily Doughnight key from the Gingerbread Man to two. It makes it so much easier. :qh:

I always seem to make things more complicated than they need to be... I'm sorry about that. :mcheh:

Okay, so it is 4 an hour. I was reading a post and it made me believe you can get two whole keys an hour XD I'm a silly.

The Gingerbread man didn't used to be two? I didn't know that!
