I kind of wish there was a posting element to this but I guess it seems cool otherwise? I'm still trying to figure out where to find the fragments since I didn't think that was very clear, but I'll read through some responses here and see if I can figure it out.
I'm also a bit sad that the gingerbread man can only be purchased with fairy coins. I can understand why this is, but I'm still disappointed.

Can't wait to see all the items! The event is actually really fun, I just like to move around the website and find a fragment. :mccute:

I'm really glad to find out we don't have to look at every single thread, I had thought we would have to look in each one from what I understood. :mcdead:

Is there some way we can see how many key fragments we've collected for every hour without having to count every time?

I do normally really enjoy the events, but I bought the turtle from the summer event for the :fc: , and I'm just not into doing that with the gingerbread man...

Suggestion regarding the FC items that produce event materials: I wish there was an umbrella payment we could do ahead of time of the events for the :fc: items - maybe at the beginning of the year and at other times. Say 1 :fc: per two event items, so the more you buy ahead the better the deal. We'd have a receipt for the certain pack choices, and be able to redeem all, some, or none of them for events.

A lot of you guys have some legit suggestions as to making things better for all of us on Kofk, but...CAN Y'ALL STOP FREAKING COMPLAINING LIKE LITTLE 5 YEAR-OLDS PLEASE?

No offence, but you guys are being outrageous. Firn and Starkad have worked very hard to provide us with a Doughnight event.

SO WHAT IF THE KEYS ARE HARDER TO COLLECT. STOP COMPLAINING. DO THE WORK OR BE EMPTY HANDED WHEN THE EVENT IS OVER, OR WAIT UNTIL PEOPLE START SELLING KEY FRAGMENTS. Until then everyone please do the best you can. I understand that not everybody has the time nor the patience to sit and collect fragments (hell, I'm one of them) but don't complain about getting materials for an event when we could have been without one in the first place. Starkad and Firn are not REQUIRED to give us events; they don't owe us anything either.

I don't mean to get so off topic, but please stop complaining so much. Be grateful that we have a wonderful event and wonderful people to celebrate it with.

Firn: I get that part of it, but it's going to be easier to fall behind with this, and I'm likely to forget what windows I've opened. Like, I think I've gotten the first two. I work until 7 at night on most days and since I'm on my feet for most of it, I'm exhausted by the end of the day. I'm what I'd call an active lurker, I try to log in daily and if I see an item that I like, I try to get it, but I don't post very much. Heck, just commenting here is pretty big for me. I'm already getting nervous, sorry, I'll keep an eye out for items that I like, look for key pieces when I can, and open windows for the items once I know what items are where, thank you.

Kyanite20: Excuse you.

Yumi, I'll ask starkad whether he can add a text message telling you that you already opened a window. Though lately, if I ask starkad to do something, it usually takes him weeks or even months to actually do it or he just ignores is completely, so I would not get my hopes up. I am sorry about that. :qcry:

How about you just wait until the end of the event to open all the windows of the items you want? Usually we get a few extra days to an event to spend the event currency. That way, you don't have to remember which ones you already opened on which days. :mctongue:

I do agree that the added text box would be nice. I'm just trying to be careful and make sure I do them in order. xD No worries if it doesn't. It was convenient to have that in the past. c:

I open my window when I collect my Troth Token (the new window opens at the same time new troth tokens are available) but unless you have a key ready when you collect Troth Token I guess it's not as easy to remember. But if you do have a key at ready... that could be a cue.
