I have read up on some of it, seen articles, and it's infuriating xD
I did see a lot of buffalo running wild and free, though.
And I told my dad, and he was so happy.
It seems like a major sign to me.
What with the shit those people are dealing with, then to see a majestic hoard of buffalo.
I'm not really into thinking everything is a sign, but that seems like it's slapping you in the face with how obvious it is.

Sadly, I don't really know a lot about them.
I know basic things because of my dad.
His grandma, I believe, was full-blooded Native American.
My mom said she always looked angry.
Which is a trait on my dad's side xD
And he's told me stories and traditions and beliefs.
He told me about his spirit animal, and it was cool.
I told kids at school and they mocked him and made fun of him.
I know they were kids, but I wanted to punch them >__>

Pwale- Holy shit that is alot, didn't realize things were that bad already. Question though, are they hate crimes against Trump supporters or the people they hate? (Might be hoping for the better of the two I guess you could say).

Moi you are right on. I completely agree with you. I know I have a little Native American blood in me, kinda the reason I hate my birthday. Found out a bunch of Iroquois were slaughtered on March 8, over a hundred and so years to my birth date. Kinda makes sense to me why I seem to be cursed in life.

It's sad how people today seem to "forget" how this country was started and how things were actually done. I bet most the idiots today who support that moron don't even know jack shit on how this country was started during it's founding days. I already know none of them know shit about religion. Because if anyone did, no one would say the crap they do about Muslims all being evil. HAHAH Like Christians have a pure innocent past... :mclaugh:

That's terrible ;;
But that just means you are filled with their energy 8u/

I know people are sometimes set in their ways, and they don't have to like everything and everyone, but they shouldn't be able to rip other people's rights away. And sure as hell have no right to touch anyone.

It just confuses me because if it was reversed, they would be saying it's wrong and an injustice.
Some Christians get pissed if they feel like they're being discriminated against.
Oh, but, they have no problem doing the SAME THING to everyone else.
And this is not all Christians. I know many that are kind and love others no matter what.

I'm the type of person that knows what something feels like, so I try not to do it to others.

I wouldn't use a faulty hammer, injure my hand, and just let someone else pick it up and try it. I'd tell them the hammer was faulty because it hurt me, and it would hurt them. And being hurt sucks, so I don't want them to get hurt.

There was an article online, talking about a Texas government official is trying to pass a law where LBGT kids will be outed to their parents.
Because "Parents should know EVERYTHING about their children"
Mmhm. But people were so angry in the comments.
Being hateful about Texans, saying they were bigots and glad we get hit with bad weather.
I was like ">___> we're not all like that."
They're doing the same thing other people are doing to them.
xD

The Southern Poverty Law Center updated their report. Over 700 hate crimes since the election.

Here's how they broke it down:

Incidents by type ranked by number of reports include: Anti-immigrant (206), anti-Black (151), anti-LGBT (80), swastika vandalism (60), anti-Muslim (51), and anti-woman (36). We are keeping track of anti-Trump incidents as well, which rose from our last report from 20 to 27.

And these are only the incidents being reported to the SPLC. I don't know if they're combining their numbers with other groups. I know I've helped a few people contact the Anti-Defamation League.

I really am thinking about my living in this country >__>
Let them have it, and let it get destroyed.
There's always been this type of thing, but now no one's afraid to do it.
And I still think Trump should get in trouble for it.
He didn't tell people to do it, but he's influencing them to do it.

I mean, fuck, Charles Manson didn't physically kill anyone, he had his followers do it, and was still given a life sentence for the killings.
Not to mention that "girlfriend" that encouraged her boyfriend to kill himself, was charged.

They just let this man into office, to have power over us.
And what annoys me more, is people telling me he's not racist.
They say "He never mentioned Mexicans! He said illegals! Not just Mexicans are here illegally!"
First of all, you can be racist without saying the word for the target.
I can say I hate "those people". That's not racist because I didn't say "those Mexicans". But you know what I meant.
Second of all, is he building walls around the whole country?

Also, the literal quote is "When Mexico sends its people"

He literally specified Mexicans.

IF IT TURNS OUT THAT A MAJORITY OF HIS VOTERS DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE ACTUALLY FUCKING SAID I AM GOING TO LOSE MY FUCKING MIND.

Moi that is spot on. So damn true, one thing that my fiance keeps mentioning to me. How the hell is Trump getting away with this stuff.

And if people who don't lay a hand on something can be charged then he sure the hell should too. Damnit, Manson can't get out. Last I heard he goes up for parole and still gets told, no. But the damned women are trying to get out of prison just because they are sick and want to die by family. I'm thinking, fuck no bitch. You did that horrific shit, you deserve to rot there. You put yourself there and I never believed their crap saying they were brainwashed. I might be harsh but they still had some brain cells left in them to think for their own. But choose not to because they became obsessed with him.

Pwale, that is a huge saddness with how many people are being treated badly since the election. Sad that no one seems to be paying attention to this and thinking. "oh... wait.... Oh shit we did this" Ugh, not in office yet and people still have no idea what is going on.

My fiance told me just a couple days ago that I have too much hope for Trump. I told him, maybe he won't do anything bad. But I know it's my optimism kicking in and hoping for the best so my brain doesn't die from the truth of what is going on. Weirdly when it proves to be wrong, it won't hit me as hard as it should. Ugh this country is confusing me even more.

I see so many people gloating. "Haha your candidate lost!" "We're going to take over!"
Pride goeth before the fall \8u/

Yes, he ain't ever getting out.
And I did see some of the women trying to get out.
They want compassion they didn't give to their victims.
Especially Sharon Tate and her baby.
I believe people can be manipulated so much, but I really doubt they didn't understand what they were doing.

My thoughts on how to live life are just "Don't be an asshole."
You don't have to like gays or gay marriage.
You don't have to like or believe in transgender people.
You don't have to like women working and such.
You don't have to like minorities.
But you will not and cannot take their rights away.

Thank you for the links. I have bookmarked your post and once the semester is over and I have the time, I'll definitely read over it, and this thread also. But for now, 500 what I assume are lengthy posts are a bit daunting for me to tackle.

Saiyouri, I'm with you. I'm hoping this madness is just excited people pushing the limit and that it'll die out soon with minor damage and that Trump, like many leaders before him, will leave the seat without fulfilling his most of his promises/threats. But maybe that's just my wishful thinking.

Something I'll mention, though, after WWII someone did a study on obedience (I don't recall the psychologist's name off the top of my head). He had a bunch of people sign up and had them pair up, one person randomly assigned to be the teacher and the other the student. They were told that the study was to see how punishment or pain affects learning or something like that? And so the student would try to memorize a set of words and then the teacher would have to give the student a shock of increasing voltage each time the student got something wrong. Meanwhile, the assignment was NOT random at all and the student was always this actor who feigned being zapped when he really wasn't. If the teacher refused to zap the confederate, the experimenter would say, "please continue", "you must continue", and "it is imperative for the study that you continue" or something like that but after third refusal they'd be allowed to stop. Before carrying out this study the one who designed this experiment asked a group of psychologists to predict when most people would stop and they mostly answered after the third level. Most people went all the way to the last level, I believe. And they didn't like it. One person actually had a nervous breakdown but they couldn't refuse because someone in the authority figure "ordered" them to do it. So I think there is something to this... well, maybe not brainwashing, but doing horrendous things because of an authority figure. People, even people who are nice usually, are psychologically wired to obey authority even when they realize it's immoral... as sad as that is.

Though I'd say that has more to do with Mason followers than those who commit hate crimes for Trump. That, I think is more like, "Now we've got a blank cheque to do whatever we want" and is deplorable.
