Recycling one glass jar saves enough energy to watch TV for 3 hours.

I never recycle. Rather I don't even know how. My apartment doesn't seem to have a trash can for it.

I've been recycling for all of my life. For me it was so normal that the first time I stayed over with a friend and saw his mom toss everything in one trashcan, I went in a shock. :}

Recycling is one thing on my list when I get to college dorms! Hopefully, I'll stick to it xD

Personally I wish more places would do it as it is so good for all of us in the long run. :}

That said here is a fun fact about the planet itself;
The name Earth comes from a combination of Old English and Germanic and is derived from ‘eor(th)e’ and ‘ertha’ which mean ‘ground’.
