Well, Wisconsin votes today so we'll see what happens...

According to the polls Cruz will win Wisconsin, but polls are hugely flawed. Only 40% of all Americans are even legally available for polling, and pollsters only call landlines so the respondents tend to be much older and more conservative than the general population AND then there's the fact that most people just hang up instead of answering polls.
It's safe to say I'm not a huge fan of polls (did you know some studies show that polls, even wildly inaccurate polls, can change the way people think about candidates? So basically you could just produce a poll with whatever results you wanted and it might have an actual effect on an actual election. Screw that, polls are dumb) but if Cruz wins we're almost certainly headed for a contested convention. If Trump wins he'll almost certainly end up with enough delegates to win the nomination outright.

It's up to you Wisconsin! I mean, we're pretty screwed either way actually, either Trump wins or Cruz wins or the GOP wages all out war and nominates Paul Ryan and Cleveland dissolves into a post-apocalyptic hellscape in the process but yeah...yay Wisconsin...

Me too! Well...about Bernie. I just don't have it in me to be happy about Cruz...there should be a rule that says if you've ever purposefully shut down the federal government to make an ideological point you are disqualified from being put in charge of said federal government...

Onto New York! Things are really heating up, on both sides of the race now. Clinton and Sanders are both the kinds of candidates who fight hardest when they're in a corner, so I expect things to get at least a little more dramatic on the Democratic side...

Agreed, Pwale. Something about "Yay, C__" makes me unable to write it even.

We'll see what happens in New York.

I am absolutely disgusted by this year's election runners. Absolutely. Disgusted.

Bernie is literally the ONLY ONE on BOTH SIDES that I'm okay with. The choices for this election are absolutely horrid, and I have my reasons for saying so.

Trump is in a league all on his own. I've seen videos of violence at his rallies, GROWN MEN pushing around, assaulting, spitting slurs at, and ripping up the signs of peaceful protestors. One even involves a man SHOVING A 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN THE CHEST TWICE [which has been called sexual assault of a minor by some AND IT SHOULD BE!] and then ANOTHER MAN SPRAYS HER IN THE FACE WITH MACE. And what does Trump do? HE ENCOURAGES IT. He's openly sexist and racist. He's talking about legalizing discrimination [illegal], legalizing misogyny [illegal], illegalizing abortion [illegal based on Roe v. Wade], and nationalizing Christianity [Illegal based on the FIRST AMENDMENT]. But is anyone talking about that? Is anyone shaming him for being a high school bully and poking fun at peaceful protestors as they're being hauled away [breach on right to peaceful protest], thus ENCOURAGING THE VIOLENCE? NOPE!

I SWEAR, His supporters are just a bunch of moronic white people who HATE women for wanting equality, HATE differing skin tones, HATE women for wanting decent health care, and HATE other religions from Christianity. Some of them probably only support him because he lets them beat up on women. It's disgusting.

ALL of the other GOP runners are anti-woman, anti-choice, anti-equality, and pro-Christianity. All of which are against laws and court cases but NO ONE CARES! All of them, just about, should have been kicked out a long time ago. SEVERAL OF THEM ARE TALKING ABOUT PUNISHING WOMEN FOR GETTING ABORTIONS. It's disgusting! States, politicians, and frontrunners are being SO BLATANT with their disrespect to existing laws that they ALL should have been kicked. We have runners talking about pushing women back, banning abortion [statistics prove that doing this does NOTHING to stop abortion, it just takes away the SAFE options for women, BUT THESE MORONS CAN'T LEARN FROM THE PAST I GUESS!], undoing marriage equality, giving religious folk another excuse to discriminate against LBGTQ, AND nationalizing a religion. How is ANY of this allowed? I DON'T KNOW!

And Clinton? Ugh. -barfs- She's ALL ABOUT talking however she needs to talk to get votes. She and Trump have swapped around every time society's views have changed. She's paid off bit time. She talks about being for women but some of her big payers are Muslim supporters that are all for the laws that punish women over there, like the ones that don't do anything for women who are raped or victims of acid attacks. I just saw an article about men fighting for their "right" to kill their wives. [http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/ne ... hters.html]
This is on top of the e-mail scandal that should have put her in jail AND all of the crap that her husband pulled. If there were a scandal limit, Bill would have reached it a long time ago and she wouldn't be running.

Cruz and Rubio are hot messes. The anti-woman, anti-choice, anti-equality, pro-Christianity runners have no business even running. First amendment states that NO government official is to have ANY PREFERENCE of a religion over another. No pushing or preferring is allowed because we are to have a secular government, as stated by the founding fathers. "Religious freedom" should NOT just benefit one religion and it's disgusting that this is even an issue.

Anyway, I'm 21 and I could sweep the damn floor with these runners JUST on morals and ethics involving their wish to take out Planned Parenthoods and abortion clinics, make abortion illegal [in all cases for Cruz, he's not even trying the "except for rape or incest" thing] and take away birth control. Like, we already did what they want. Before Roe v. Wade, abortion was illegal and it SUCKED. It still happened and women and girls died. They went to back-alley places, crossed the boarder, or did it themselves. Not safe, not sterile, and NOT in women's best interest. I know it's a touchy subject for some but it's damn important and I'll gladly argue for my right of choice over MY BODY, I don't care who I'm up against because the research supports choice. I don't want any holy book make decisions for me because, according to the Bible, I should have been beaten to death in front of my dad's house a long time ago.

Bit of a rant, sorry, this election is just so blatantly disrespectful to laws that it's WAY deep under my skin. These issues shouldn't even be issues. I tried to keep it respectful, but the things that I've mentioned are absolutely fact and it's disturbing. I've gotten really hot about politics recently due how horribly these decisions can affect my entire sex. I'm in IN, where Pence just pulled another butt move, making abortion illegal if it's for race, sex, or due to a disability. Like, if a woman got pregnant and can't afford a child, period, she's basically screwed if she finds out that the baby will have some physical or mental disability at one of the state mandated things like the required ultrasound or during the required waiting period. Pence sure as heck didn't pass any aid programs to help these women. This is why it is NOT APPROPRIATE for MEN to make BLANKET LAWS OVER THE FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM. Especially considering that many of them HAVE NO CLUE HOW IT WORKS! It riles me up with every story I see about women driving 300 miles to abort a miscarrying fetus, or a Catholic hospital opting to remove a woman's fallopian tube so that they can feel like they tried to save the ECTOPIC PREGNANCY [when the zygote attached inside the tube, where babies can't grow and there's no change. This also could kill the woman.] instead of giving her the abortion pill to save her life.

Sorry, I'm way over, but this is a super important issue that's in serious danger and needs to be talked about more.

Yumi the sad thing is... is that majority of the people don't even know what any of this even means
or even cares in Trump's crap ass supporters case.

I agree with you on everything. And those things need to be talked about. More than ever. And I am so sorry that you have to live in a state like that. It's rather pathetic. After all these years, we women still have NO right over our own bodies. It's law we are not property in a way but we still are considered property if men still have the right to choose what we can and can not do with our own bodies.

And HOLY fudge.... Legalize a god damn religion???? The one that murdered so many god damn people over shit ass reasons? I am so done with this country now.

Ohhhhhhhhh man. Dominionists, am I right?

Some people think there are two form of dominionism, there's a lighter kind where people think America is a Christian nation and oppose separation of church and state, and there's the heavier kind which is basically the Spanish Inquisition.

I think they're the same thing, just one is armed and the other isn't. But it is true that there is a growing movement of people in the US who...well, who want to take over the country in the name of their God, only they're so fucked up they think it's "taking back." Some of these people are ignorant and feel threatened when they have to share their communities, resources and privileges with members of other groups. Some of these people are stupid or maleable, and just believe everything they hear at their local mega-church and on the conservative talk radio. And some of them are evil sociopaths bent on global domination.

But those of us who are not Christian can't say boo because you CANNOT criticize Christianity in most parts of the country unless you have magical powers that will help you escape the blood thirsty mob, and too many people are for some reason unable to differentiate between a criticism leveled at a few individuals and a criticism leveled at the entire group (hint hint, "Islamic" extremism. Honestly, we don't call the LRA "Christian" extremists so why should we call IS "Islamic" extremists? Oh right--Republicans think they can get more votes by scapegoating a minority.)

That's why I only trust PEW polls. They only have a 5% margin of error.

I'm a fan of PEW myself, (and Gallop) but it's worth remembering that they are still subject to the same restrictions as everyone else. For example, it's illegal to dial cell phones for polling, so PEW still has the same problem that everyone else has where their survey pool is dramatically older, whiter and more conservative than the general population purely because that tends to be the kind of person who has a land line.

LOL Pwale your post is so on point. And most of the mass shootings in the country
all have some basis of God in them. And that just makes things even worse.
I honestly don't know how Trump would ever get that pushed through congress but I know he will not stop trying his damnest.
No matter laws or admendments!!

Ugh this crap needs to go away and we need people with BRAINS. Hell a god damn cat would do a better job licking his own ass running the country.
