If so, it's an international thing now.
Each country has it's own initiative for it though... But basically, it's a month in which loads of people either try to write 50 000 words for a story of theirs, and some artists on the site try and make as much art as possible for it. So it's grown from purely writing to something a bit more...

It's pretty cool though. But unless you live in a larger country the rewards are a little less... :mcheh:

I just realized that "take out" means food, dating, and murder. And if you were a female praying mantis you'd have all three.

Uhhh....convo catch-up:

I bought my HMC copy from a bookstore --I have the entire set of the series --er, if it could be called a series.

I doubt I have enough time to NaNo, but I'm sure I'll be writing plenty regardless. @_@

Oh, my art group is so distracting/fun. *facepalm* My character has gotten tricked and treated so much this month; it's been thrilling. XD

This one. XD So far for tricks, he's put up with a week of pink hair, and then a week of being one and a half inches shorter.

There are also tricks by other students, where he ended up having to jump for a donut, got hit with a flatulence spell, and was given a sticky two-tailed fish.

Of treats, a lot of it is sweets, but he's not really into them; he's actually collecting them because he made a bet with a friend that he could get more. XD;
