He can say other things, like mama, dada, tata ( which
is Angel's dogs name, lol ). But that's about it.
I was wearing purple yoga pants, and my nails were purple,
and this side of his block was purple, so I was just introducing him
to similar colours. I said 'purple!' a few times and he copied me.
XD I was like ???? WHAT 8u SAY IT AGAIN.
And he said it like 3 times, lol.

xD He can tell me what purple is, that's about it.

But he's good at other things, like when I point to something
far away, he knows what I'm pointing at. When someone drops
something, he says "Uh-oooohhhh :U" every time. xD If I
say CLAP CLAP CLAP! he'll clap his hands together, lol.
But he can't really talk yet. It's still mostly screaming.

Recently, he's been doing this thing where if he sees
something interesting he'll go "Ooohhhhh 8u" or if
I ask him a yes or no question and he doesn't feel like
shaking his head yes or no, he'll be like "Uhh??" like "Who, me???" xD

It's frikken cute. uB

Still something! If he's saying that much, he should be able to communicate. Speaking a language and communicating aren't the same thing, not exactly. Consider teaching him a few sign language like 'eat' 'drink' 'more' etc. That will help him communicate his needs before he has the language to say so. It's always easier for babies to learn sign language because it's a lot more visual than tongue movements.

But yeah. comprehension comes before speaking. Listening, speaking, reading, THEN writing. Which is why I always discourage my students from writing things down first. You're trying to run before you know how to even sit up, man. Take it slow.
