((Assuming you were saying she still doesn't know Kyle is the author? Since he didn't say anything, and neither did she. It will be amusing when she finds out.))
Kyle was a bit surprised when she said she'd already read it, but it was a good surprise. He took the book back with a smile. "Really? I've got the whole series, if you're interested! Let me get book twenty." He went back to the shelf and put the first book back before grabbing book twenty, The Underground Temple, and returning with it. This had the same blood red cover and gold writing, all the first editions of The Blood-Soaked Maiden he had did. He looked rather happy, knowing she enjoyed the book. He always felt embarrassed when he knew other people were reading his book, but hearing how people liked it always made him rather happy. Honestly, he was more surprised that people didn't realize he was the author. The last name he could understand, his family was large, but the main character has his ability to read minds! Most people who actually knew him had some idea he could that.
Kyle patted the cover fondly and handed Helena the book. "This series is on the top shelf, so let me know when you need the next one." He said smiling widely. "Let me know what you think." There was a pause as he looked at her for a moment. Suddenly he felt like writing again, but he didn't want to be rude, or expose himself as the author just yet. Honestly, unless asked directly he never admitted it. "So, where would you like to read? I've got a few chairs scattered around the room, if you like. Or you can go where-ever." Kyle asked, glancing around for his notes. It seems he had left some of them under a few books, but the actual story was in a locked drawer in his desk. He had the key on top of the bookshelf, right above where he kept the series. It was likely he looked distracted, as he kept glancing here and there while talking to Helena. In the end, he even started mouthing words to himself, and became obviously lost in thought.
