    I haven't seen very many of those movies at all.
    Maybe one or two. One of them is definitely Mewtwo Strikes Back.
    That brings back childhood memories.

    Ghibli is absolutely amazing.<3
    My first Ghibli movie was Princess Mononoke and I was hooked ever since.

I'm more into the Pokemon games than movies/anime. Though my boyfriend and I are watching the Kanto/Gen 1 series of Pokemon now since it's on Netflix. Unfortunately, we're on the Bye Bye Butterfree episode and have been stuck on it for weeks because we don't want to cry. xD;;

I love Ghibli, they do do amazing work. I think my first Ghibli movie was Kiki's Delivery Service, then Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle. All of these were watched before I even realized Ghibli existed though. :mcsweat:

I've watched almost all of Ghibli Studio's movies now, they all have awesomesauce practically embedded in the animation and story-telling. :mclove:

I unfortunately say this after I realized the DVD I bought on Amazon was actually done by a company that basically pirated all of the movies that were available in both Japanese and English with subtitles in 2012. It was under forty dollars and I figured it was legit (though the price should have been an indicator but it wasn't to me at the time, this is me being sheltered I guess). :mcsweat:

    Netflix is really stepping up their game, adding shows like that.
    There are a couple of other good older shows they've added as well, but I don't remember them at the moment.

    I think I'll start stockpiling on their movies too.
    I've seen nearly every one. I think I'm only missing out on one or two titles.
    Excellent movies to have in your collection.
    Plus, it's been a while since I've seen Princess Mononoke and I'd like to see it again.

I haven't seen any of the Pokemon movies. I've seen a very few of the series episodes from Cartoon Network years ago.

Yeah, I guess they've realized there's a lot of people who wanna rewatch old shows, but they don't really wanna invest in buying the DVD set. So Netflix is perfect for that kind of thing! xD

  • The games are more entertaining, in my opinion.
    But then, I also really, really don't like Ash, so that turns me off from watching the series anyway.

    They also added Xena: Warrior Princess, which was one of my favorite shows growing up.
    When Netflix tried to split their business between streaming and physical discs, they lost my business for a while, but then they made an amazing move like that. xD
