Just blocking our advices is not the right way (and sometimes kind of rude), you should really think about this.
I am not even commenting on the other stuff that you wrote, because I see you seem to assume that it is my duty to do stuff a certain way solely for the pleasure of others, without finding any pleasure in it myself.
I do this site for fun and because I do enjoy doing certain things. And if there are people who enjoy what I do, then that is really awesome and makes me happy even more, but if there are people who do not like things a certain way and want me to change it into something that I do not like or consider to be an acceptable compromise, then I will not say "Okay, I will do it your way, so you are happy, and I am not". The way you phrased your statements makes it seem as if you thought I had any kind of obligation towards you or anyone here, which is quite a rude demand.
If there are people who state that they do not like something a certain way, then I will always read it and I will acknowledge their suggestions, criticism and concerns, think about it, and, if I find a suggestion acceptable, then I will gladly follow it - All things I have already done on many occasions in the past! But, on the other hand, if someone suggests something or criticise something, and I simply do not agree with the statements, do not see it the same way, and after multiple posts neither one of us was able to convince the other, then I do not see the point in continuing the discussion. If I say "I like green" and you say "I like red", then we can discuss this to death, and in the end I won't over-talk you into liking green and you not me into liking red. Hibari97 may be an artist, but what if I possible do not like the way she draws eyes? She has Knuffel where the base is clearly looking forward, but she drew the eyes on it in a way you would draw them if the face was turning sidewards, which looks very wrong to me. ( I did not want to bring criticism of her art into this at all, and I do not think someone needs to be a good artist in order to make valid criticism, but it serves to defend myself, as well as bringing across my point that you can draw something in a way that you think looks right, and others do not have to see it that way and she will not be able to make me think the way she draws eyes looks right, the same way I cannot make her think my way looks right) So, if I consider the way she draws eyes to look incorrect, and she considers the way I draw eyes to look incorrect, then there is no point in continuing the discussion once we have established that fact.
And you are right - an artist should be able to receive critic, which, I believe, at this point I actually was? I did not block any advice (and it is unfair to even make this statement, seeing as I could just have completely ignored her post, decided not to do so and now even that doesn't get acknowledged, but instead somehow gets held against me?), I read her post, acknowledge it and even took time and effort to reply to it multiple times and explain my point. I am not sure where you put this off as not being able to handle critic. She sees my art a certain way, I do not see it the same way. She showed an examples of overlaying some eyes to prove her point, I showed examples of eyes overlayed to prove my point. I saw that the discussion had reached a point where there was simply nothing more to add as we did not share the same opinion on how we thought the display of an eye looked good. I accept and respect her opinion, but this does not meant I have to agree with it and see it the same way and I find it rude to get offensive towards me because I do not agree with someone's opinion and make it look like I just ignored her opinion or advice, because, after reading, acknowledging and thinking about it, I still did not agree with it.
