Let's see. I collect names that I hear or read and really like. Sometimes I name a Knuffel that I really like after a favorite character of mine and sometimes I make something up.^^

Sometimes Ill string letters together and see if i can per-nonce then ill name my knuffle sometimes ill use names from tv shows and stuff lke that

I don't have one.... but I usually name my character based on their color

I usually choose names in various languages of interest and then choose name from that language that suits something of the knuffel's element.

My knuffels all have Japanese names and they all vaguely relate back to a characteristic of the knuffels. In normal knuffels it'll be the element and in wild knuffels it'll be something related to the overall impression.

I pick my knuffel names based on places I've been, movies I've seen, books I've read, songs I've heard. They serve as good mementos when I thought I'd forgotten whatever small thing it was that I enjoyed.

I look up names and their meanings and try to match my knuffel with a name that best suits it.

usually I name them after favorite book/movie characters.
sometimes after my pets. :)
