I also must point out sai is Japanese so it different from most American product. It not like American product how we try to get more buyer by offer a lot more. They offer a lot less...wonder is Japan is a capitalist like America. :qo:

But you know that SAI doesn't cost >1000$ like Photoshop, do you?
For drawing SAI is still a thousand times better than Photoshop FOR ME. But thats a matter of personal preferences :P

I was talking about MS paint. It free but it got a few brushes, text tool, and shape tool. While sai got none of those. (even though it a million time better) It make me think in Japan it not capitalist because in capitalist we tend to make thing offer a lot to sell more. Sai is pretty simple and does not offer a lot of extra like most American program.

And it is so true, sai does not cost as much as photoshop so we can't expect as much. I also agree, I prefer sai over Photoshop just cuz it so hard to learn and so expensive.

Okay the newer versions of Paint have several brushes but the lines are still pixely which makes it unusable for serious drawings.
But ... is Paint for free? I don't know. It usually comes with Windows o.o

You offer more to sell more? Uuuh I want to live there. Here I only see they sell less for the same price.

... I use gimp. I've used MS paint before. Gimp is free, and like 1000x better than paint (in my opinion).

yea, gimp beat MS paint any day.

@cyan: I think it cuz Europe is about everyone being equal and US is about profit. Which mean try to out sell the competition at all cost no matter who get hurt. (Mostly small bushiness get destroy by big one and they are the one getting hurt)

Europe is about being equal and USA is about being capitalist? Wait what o.o
Here is the news: Europe is deep down in the capitalistic system too. At the moment you get the feeling whole EU is a slave of the banks.

I just hear people complain about Gimp, so I never tried it.

i use gimp, it was a pain to learn at first but now that ive got a bit of a hang of it, it like it, ive done all my wilds on it. I prefer it to the corel painters essentials that i got for free with my wacom tablet (that i still dont know where the pen is to it T_T )

I heard Europe is socialist so it more about equality.... didn't hear the other part. More 100 knuffel for you, congrats.

I love your avi. :qlov:

I hate gimp too but it better than MS paint. Line art take forever and coloring is difficult. I try corel painters essentials but I perfer sai still.

Oooh Ruby your history books are probably 30 years old :'D Socialism is pretty much gone in Europe.

I only have Corel ArtDabbler. That programm is funny. Maybe I'd use it if it had layers.
