In elementary school we learned it by questions.
Wer? Nominativ
Wessen? Genitiv > Almost never used in spoken language so we can skip that
Wem? Dativ
Wen? Akkusativ

Nominativ is always used for the subject in a sentence.
Okay when you have verbs that want 2 objects you use a Dativ for the object that verb is adressing to.
Ich gebe dir den Vogel = I give you the bird > dir=Dativ, den Vogel=Akkusativ
Ich gebe dem Vogel dich = I give you to the bird > dem Vogel Dativ, dich=Akkusativ
Ich spende ihm Vögel = I donate birds to him
Ich spende ihn Vögeln = I donate him to birds
(Ich spende ihm Vögeln = I donate him shagging <- thats better than fuck yes? xD)
Basically you use Dativ for the active object (the person that is target of your action) and Akkusativ for the passive object (the thing your are using for your action)
It's different for verbs that only want one object though. Most of them, but not all use Akkusativ.
Ich sehe dich. >dich=Akkusativ
Sie schlägt ihn. >ihn= Akkusativ

A water lily knuffel sounds pretty. Lilies are my favorite flower...mostly tiger lilies

I tried feeding and playing with your knuffels and got about halfway but then I got "loading" then "server error". So sorry I didn't get to finish. My computer seems to be lagging on here a lot this week.

Oh good..well not that you are having trouble too. It is really bad. i know some were complaining because that were getting banned for a day because of having to many windows open or typing to fast...ect.. I think it lags when so many are on or they are doing some kinda of updates. I don't like the thought of people cheating. Well I guess I am off to bed.
