'Cause yeah, "it hasn't been done before" is a little motivation for me to do something, but I really need to like it myself too. :p
I think the cliché stuff that everyone on this site loves - like Japanese styles, vampires, you know the drill - is something to be done by someone else. Voodoo would sort of really be my limit, I'm afraid. I don't like dark, I don't like cliché. Yes, cats are cliché, but that's something I like myself and I can easily give it my own twist, since they're... real, you know. Oni are already a certain design...

). And they have have wings with stripes on them. They are also roughly the size of a dragon because with the type of dragons I came up with, they are one of the few species that can pierce a dragon's scales, and only with their tails actually. XD But they are usually peaceful creatures, only eating fish they catch in streams and such. They only time they attack anyone is when they approach their young or they are attacked first. They also live in prides much like lions do as well. Hope that's not too complicated for you.
