Canaries do so too, my dad was joking about how Shaw was dyed in the pet store when I bought him... he's a Red Factor... and two days ago I found out that Red Factor really is dye xD
The woman in the store told me that his color would be deeper if I fed him the extra food, not that his red color would completely disappear if I didn't :')

So is he white now? I thought all canaries were yellow

I did feed him the stuff, though not much, and he hasn't molted yet anyway so for now he'll keep his Red Factor.

Canaries are yellow to me due to tweety bird. I see that tweety bird icon everywhere, it so popular among kid. That bright color sure is pretty on that bird. Does your bird sing? Canaries are know for their song. (well at least in the cartoon)

I level them in other element except one. He a pure tree and not mix like the rest. ;D Tree warrior for the win. I like the new loki, his outfit is nice. The cape is awesome.

Yeah I've only seen yellow canaries in the pet shop. Maybe they are just the easiest to breed. Don't need special food or something?

Almost all of my trees are flying in the air tehehe. But my Bierbaum (beer tree) is leveling in light because beer is yellow ... X.x

In cartoons all birds are known for their song.
Among canaries, only the males sing. And yeah, it's a male, and I picked him for his song. I stood outside the pet store and I heard a bird sing. I went in and stated I wanted that one. Turned out to be the baby I had seen before and admired for his color. :p
