Actually you guys were also right. Henna is what they call the dye to make the tattoos as well as the hairdye ^^
Its a mix of natural herbs ,that they crush and drye, and the result is like a brown coloured dust [
like this] that you mix with a bit of water until it reaches a pasty consistency similar to the own a regular chemical dye has, maybe a little thicker.And then when you lay it over your hair it dries and its like having dry mud in it x_x lol
you usually have to wait minimum 3 hours though, as it has no chemicals like hairdyes (which usually have a chorosive element that slightly bleaches your hair).
When I do Henna I just usually just do it before going to bed,wrap my hair in a towel, and just wash my hair in the morning =3
And even though the bags they sell may seem expensive (they sell for 8-10 euros here, so maybe they might sell for 11-15 US dollars over there?) the amount sold usually allows you to dye your hair more than once.
And if there's a little left that isn't enough to dye your hair, you can always use it to make a tattoo ^^
AND THAT COLOUR IS GORGEOUS!
Although henna might not give you that bright of an orange, it will rather give you a more organic natural colour.But it depends with the hair you have really =3
Oh, and it gives more volume to the hair,and stengthens it ^.^
